His father did it too when he mistakenly read this subtext:

“Message: I care.”

I am commenting on this here video to tell you that President Junior’s next speech might include the line “I am here to explain to you why I am making this speech here”.

I think it’s to be expected that a POTUS that has screwed up his administration so badly he’s not even trying anymore would resort to behaving as he does in speeches.  He’s not explaining to the public why he’s there at a political function: he’s explaining to himself why he’s there.  He is going through the motions in a most exquisite fashion.  He wanted to be president in the worst way.  Poor world; he got his wish.

Jon Stewart and the Daily Show is a perfect end to the day.  GWB would serve himself well if he watched once in a while, he just might see past his own nose.  The rest of the media could use some of that candor.  I can only imagine the roundtable meetings going on everyday especially at Fox and shows like Matthews.  They still don’t get it, Americans want real news and we want it straight and we don’t want slant, just the facts please, and maybe a little humor now and then.........
