Let It Be Known That Keith Olbermann’s Not Havin’ It

Olbermann
alternet.org

Nope, he’s not havin’ it, and neither is his snazzy purple tie: Olbermann announced on his show that the “annual Republican witch-hunting season is underway.”

President Bush’s criticism of MoveOn.org’s “General Betray Us” ad and the “Democrat Party” provoked this barrage of verbiage from MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, who slams Bush for “behaving a little bit more than usual like we’d all interrupted him while he was watching his favorite cartoons on the DVR. ... “

The swiftboaters attacked and defeated Moveon on the floor of congress and on the public stage.. Can you believe it? Are they ready for the election or what? Swift boating is very hard to define but you know it when you see it. The only thing you can say for sure about swiftboating is that if Karl Rove and his blackberry were hit by a bus the swiftboating would stop.

Direction of this county is supported by the inaction of the checks and balances, congress is and has been in support of the destruction of the Constitution, under management of Bush. Oberman should be including congress in his premise.

I really like and admire this persons fortitude! Here is a man just out of an emergency surgical hospital stay and he is so mad and fed up with the injustices and falsehoods of our current President he speaks the truth right back into the face of W. . . I have written him and thanked him.

No cable where I live but the email works slow but sure.

Keep Up the good Work Kieth!

Don’t we all love Keith and need him just as we need “Move-On”, we need Move-on more then we need the jerks in Congress who voted to remand Move-On.
Don’t forget the names of the traitors, so we can help to get them voted out of office next time.

As far as Bush bashing the ad about Betray us, is pretty ironic as Bush runs off his mouth all the time calling us Dems traitors who don’t support our troops!
Bush has been calling names for six years.
How pathetic that he, as president has nothing more important to report on….  He hasn’t a clue!

Thank you for calling out Bush for pimping the brass in order to keep killing the soldiers on the ground and then trying to divert the attention to a freedom of speech issue in a news conference.

If there is a heaven, Keith Olbermann is going there.

Sadly, if his ratings weren’t high, they’d shut him down faster than a speeding bullet. MSNBC could care less about what he’s saying.

Ironically, it’s ALL about the money.

What makes the Democratic supporters of the Cornyn resolution appear so disgusting is that the resolution never debates the facts of the ad, but instead lies about it’s content. I’ve asked my Sen. Feinstein to apologize for this lie in the resolution.

“Whereas a recent attack through a full-page advertisement in the New York Times by the liberal activist group, Moveon.org, impugns the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all the members of the United States Armed Forces: Now, therefore, be it…’

The ad does no such thing. So Feinstein has attacked speech and joined in a Republican lie about other Dems.

Keith Olbermann has been in the fight long enough to earn the respect of progressives, despite the corporate ties that clearly bind, or which will bind some day. For now, he gets the situation just about right. He is a patriotic voice in a time when America is weakened by incompetent leadership, to the point where we witness the emergence of a kind of Patriot Act McCarthyism. Those who speak eloquently to power deserve our praise in the present.

You got to love Keith.  He’s right-on with all his special comments.  Bush is such an American Embarrassement.  If Rudy gets the Rep nomination, Keith will eat him for lunch.  Let’s hope MSNBC doesn’t pull a “Phil Donohue” on us….
