Huckabee and Paul

Perhaps more remarkable than watching Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee trot out the “if you break it, you buy it” analogy in relation to the Iraq war during Wednesday’s debate is taking in Ron Paul’s exasperated speech about how a handful of neocons in Washington “hijacked our foreign policy.”

Fox News is just unashamedly despicable, and anyone that values the commentary they utter is a moron. As for the “ Repugnicant Party”, they are so embedded with corruption and deceit that there is absolutely no chance for them to see reality. It is pitiful to see that the Jewish lobby, which was fundamental to the civil rights era, has evolved into this neoconic militaristic cabal capable of such unjustice. And Ron Paul, whom I often disagree with, appears to be the only “Repugnicant” which values the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But don’t let the Democrats off the hook because they are truly no better. This two party system is crap and it needs to be changed; also, term limits in Congress need to be changed so that the American populace can keep refreshing the system of Democracy, unlike now where we basically exist by the orders of an oligarchy. Oh yeah, no more lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court. Because as the supposed ultimate decision makers regarding the state of America, it is a shameful politicized debacle. I love my home, but Canada is looking better everyday.

It is time to put this “you broke it, you bought it” nonsense first asserted by Collin Powell and now repeated by Mike Huckabee to rest.  Iraq was not an item for sale on a shelf.  It was a sovereign nation.  The U.S. was not a kid in a store which broke an item and had to pay for it.  It was an aggressor which launched an unprovoked and illegal invasion that has killed perhaps as many as one million Iraqis, displaced two million more and brought about chaos and devastation.

There is no more validity in suggesting that because we brought about utter devastation we now “own Iraq” than there would be in asserting that because the Nazis invaded France, Germany now “owns France.” The argument that because we destroyed a sovereign nation by invading it, we must now remain is Orwellian.

The one refreshing thing about these clips was the fact that the Fox Propaganda Network actually revealed the results of a viewer poll in which the public overwhelmingly felt that Ron Paul had won the debate.  ABC conducted two successive polls on its web site as to who won the last Democratic debate.  Dennis Kucinich won handily in both with Obama a distant second.  ABC pulled the results from its web site and failed to mention them on-air in any of its “news” programs.

Chris Wallace’ sneering question to Ron Paul about “taking marching orders from Al-Qaeda” was low, even for Fox “News”. I was glad to see Paul give a good answer about “following the Constitution,” to thunderous applause.

The warmongers in the allegedly “conservative” Republican Party are most afraid of anti-war “paleo-conservatives” like Ron Paul, Paul Craig Roberts, and Bruce Fein. The Democrats, unfortunately, are just as much pro-war as the Republicans.

The republican party hasn’t “dug itself a hole”.  It’s dug itself a BOTTOMLESS PIT!  Are they trying to find a shorter shipping route for those poisonous toys and dog food from China?

Most states have open primaries. Those who support Ron Paul, but are independents or Democrats, can in many cases vote for Paul in the Republican primaries.

All other Democratic and Republican candidates (with the possible exception of Dennis Kucinich)stumble over each other in attempts to sound more macho than everyone else regarding war in the Middle East.

Assuming Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich don’t get nominated, I think they should consider running together as third party candidates.

Chris Wallace earns his reactionary, Murdoch boot licking, defend the status quo stripes.
MR. WALLACE: So, Congressman Paul, and I’d like you to take 30 seconds to answer this, you’re basically saying that we should take our marching orders from al Qaeda? If they want us off the Arabian Peninsula, we should leave? (Laughter.)

“America Aone”, by Halper and Clarke, show, in detail, how a few neocons highjacked our middle east foreign policy. Years ago, the same neocons wrote the plans for the wars on Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, and Syria for the PM of Israel.Later they prepared one for the USA, to carry out the original.

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are our only hope to save us from the North American Union and eternal war.

Sean Hannity and Fox News are scum.

They have names, Abrams, Perle, Franklin, Zakim, Wolfowicz, Chertoff to name a few.

Several of them have been in trouble or are currently in trouble for passing state secrets to Israel via AIPAC handlers.  One of them is no doubt the top Israeli spy MEGA, not to be confused with the MEGA group which is equally neferious.

Ron Paul came through last night despite the panel virtually ignoring him.  When he did get a chance to field the Fox set up questions he came through in shining colors.

Hannity once again proved he is an idiot in the after show interview.

Rudy’s audible laughing, giggling during Pauls answers proved to me that he is a rude, little man who is fearful of those who speak against the prevailing and often wrong belief system.

Ron Paul is the ONLY true American of all of the Republican candidates. McCain , while a POW (and heroe for that sacrifice) is nothing more (now)than another war-mongering, and despicable Republican seeking stature and notoriety. We must wipe the slate clean, of both parties, and start again.
