Riggle

“The Daily Show,” on the scene in Iraq, goes to town on the ridiculous yet timelessly entertaining assertion of Rep. Mike Pence that a particularly deadly Baghdad market he visited was “like a normal outdoor market in Indiana in the summertime.”

Rob Riggle is incredibly funny.
Believe me, we need some humor with the news these days or we might all be looking for a rope to hang ourselves.

Mike Pence was incredibly DUMB.
There isn’t much to be said about the sadness of the Iraqi people and the stupidity of the american government
and the guilt of all who were cheerleaders for this war. The patriots have for the most part quit waving the oil and blood soaked flag.
But the venom of defeat still spews forth from their lips.
The human race has just lost one round with the quest for civilization.

For a television show that ardently claims it is not a news program they sure like to push it.  Sending a correspondent to Iraq?  OK, he wasn’t doing any serious journalism, but this is probably about as helpful to Stewart’s argument that they don’t do journalism as the time Al Gore came on the show and said it was one of the best sources for news on TV.  Doesn’t matter, really.  The fourth estate’s having a block party to celebrate selling out years ago. - TheEnd
