Two envoys from the notoriously press-eschewing Bush administration, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, were seen (gasp!) answering questions on television ... on the same day!  “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart compares this highly improbable occurrence to “a giant squid having sex with Bigfoot as the ghost of Jim Morrison claps giddily.”  Via Crooks and Liars

Have I missed anny? probably lots.

This (undeclared) war would be won by now if it weren’t for misguided un-American liberal traitors such as truth dig who offer aid and comfort to the enemy.

That’s classified I can’t answer it. I can’t answer why it’s classified. I can’t tell you the criteria for classification.

These liberals hate America and your mother. The evildoer terrorists are attacking us because they’re jealous of our freedoms.

We would still have millions of acres of lush old-growth forests if it weren’t for those damn tree hugger liberals.

It’s their fault. They’re to blame. We’re the moral ones who still believe in God.

Whatever’s wrong now is a result of the liberal and immoral Clinton administration.

There’s probably no end to this list. The main tactic is to accuse your opponent of doing what you’re doing, grind them into the dust and then when the focus turns back on you, find a new opponent to blame.

Why is no one in the media making a correlation between the amounts of money being spent on the war in Iraq and the lack thereof to repair our aging bridges and infrastructure?  Putting financial resources toward infrastructure rather than fighting this unnecessary and unjustified war would have prevented the collapse of the I-35W Minneapolis bridge.
