You’re on target again Ga, on what is not funny. Thing is, the “conspiring” of bureaucratic “branch leaders” has it’s historical precendent, but there’s no doubt that this Mob Administration has taken it all beyond the pale, into a parallel universe, where their “reality” is the only one that counts. And, their reality doesn’t include the rule of law, or the ethics of government leadership. So, we’ve had none of that, for over 7 years.

And no, it’s not funny.

As for the guy who asked gonzo “where he learned his trade”, and referred to him as a STUPID Mtr Fckr, that turned out to be Rickey Roma, a Republican from Florida. Yep, a republican from Florida. All I can say to that is….things aren’t looking good for gonzo and the rest of the Cabal.

Oh Lordy!!! I’m still laughing. The second clip, toward the end…Somebody, (a man whose face is blurred) says to Gonzo, “Where did you learn your trade, you STUPID M%$! F!#@R ?!!

Does anybody know who that was/is?

If I watch it again, the giggles are likely to kick in again.

It WAS funny.

Good Lord!!!  Would YOU allow that kind of incompetence to remain for 5 minutes in a business that you own?  And the Republican Congress approved of this guy??

And he is STILL testifying?????  If I talked like that at traffic court, the judge would rightfully toss me out in a minute.  And THIS guy is the A.G. of the UNITED STATES!!!!!!  Are we idiots in this country????

Sincerely, Don Stivers

Nah, Enemy of the State, sociopaths like Gonzales are born without a conscience.  The absence of conscience is an inherited trait.  Just look at the last three generations of the family Bush.

Boy, talk about premature aging. First his memory goes to pot. Now his hearing! I guess his conscience was the first to go.

That last clip of the Marine drill seargant was just fabulous, how can Gonzales show his face in public ever again?  I needed a good laugh!  Extreme, but to the point.

The Alberto “Doublespeak” Gonzalez bobble head doll, on sale at Repubnik fund raisers near you. Remember the doll isn’t broken because the head doesn’t move up or down or side to side when you ask it questions, it’s just truth challenged and best of all, it’s a collectible and will only increase in value.

Tyler, you are only partially right.  If you asked Gonzales to “tell Congress where to go” he would likely point in every possible direction so as to maximize the change that the course Congress took was the wrong one.

The entertainment media, as Jon Stewart has shown, can be very helpful in providing information and insight about current events and developments.

Sometimes, people like Stewart can take the situations that make us feel lousy and help us laugh about them, and also do something to make things better.

Some media activities and platforms try to “dumb down” audiences in various ways.

Other films, TV shows and media help us gain insight and understanding of other kinds.

Thoughts on these things in the article ...

Our elected officials are making a mockery of the public by allowing people like gonzales to get up and basically tell congress where to go.

If the democrats really wanted to do something, they could.

Only the genius of John Stewart can turn Freddo’s application of Orwellian Newspeak into comedy:

“Alberto Gonzales is saying, basically, there are problems, of which he cannot speak, for which he is responsible, yet not to blame, and that he is the only one who can clean up the mess…that he c an neither cofirm nor deny exists.”

I was damn funny.
Now if we can just learn to see the humor in the fact that Alberto Gonzales will probably end up profiting for his professional prevarications.
