Not everyone buys Rudy Giuliani’s 9/11-generated alter ego: “America’s Mayor.”  The International Association of Firefighters is out to make its case that Giuliani’s leadership after the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks was not as stellar as the Republican presidential candidate would have voters think.

“...it’s time to pressure Guiliani and all the other candidates (Democrat and Republican) TO END THE WAR IN IRAQ.  The Congress has had it in their power all along to end the war—ALL CONGRESS HAD TO DO WAS REPEAL THE WAR DECLARATION IN IT’S ENTIRETY TO BE IMPLEMENTED RETROACTIVE FROM THE DATE OF REPEAL.”

Unfortunately in the house, Democrat does not equal an anti war vote.  AND despite the press reporting, The Democrats are NOT a majority in the Senate. 49 Republicans, 49 Democrats, and two independents.  One of those independents got his Senate seat by saying he was in favor of GWB’s Iraq war strategy, and the other, a socialist,  most often votes with the Democrats. A tie in the Senate is broken by a vote from the Vice President… and we know how he votes.

Without significant Republican support, the vote in the Senate fails to win anything on the initial tabulation, and even with the votes of Hagel, Snowe, Collins, and possibly Spector, the Senate vote would be vetoed, and there is no possible way to shape the numbers for an override.

Sorry to change the subject, but it’s time to pressure Guiliani and all the other candidates (Democrat and Republican) TO END THE WAR IN IRAQ.  The Congress has had it in their power all along to end the war—ALL CONGRESS HAD TO DO WAS REPEAL THE WAR DECLARATION IN IT’S ENTIRETY TO BE IMPLEMENTED RETROACTIVE FROM THE DATE OF REPEAL.  WHEN CONGRESS SAYS IT CAN’T STOP THE PRESIDENT—THEY’RE LYING.  TIME TO END THE WAR.  TIME FOR A NATIONAL STRIKE AND SHUT THE COUNTRY DOWN.  TIME TO RECLAIM OUR COUNTRY.

For any political group to secondguess the needs of professional firefighters is arrogant beyond the pale.  Guiliani was responsible for the antiquated equipment of his NYC firefighters.  He knowingly sent these brave people into harm’s way with inadequate protection, while stealing the credit for THEIR HEROISM himself.  He has no shame or decency.  911 was not a time to collect political ‘brownie’ points—it was time for all to work together for the common good.  If rescue equipment was inadequate—it should have replaced immediately—THAT SAME DAY OR WEEK.  Guiliani was too busy pretending he was Clark Kent finding his ...potency…I mean courage.  Guiliani is most certainly NOT MAYOR OF THE US.  He’s nothing more than a crass opportunist lacking any social graces or morality.  If anything he should be subjected to a grand jury investigating why the NYC firefighters were denied adequate lifesaving equipment.  In short, Guiliani shouldn’t be lionized—he should be prosecuted for malfeasance in office.

Gut so called feeling is that more can happen outside corporate news anytime now.  The Bushistas re. patriotsquestion911.com/media have got to be aware as any hunted beast the US population is catching on to them.  Too many military types and scientists are speaking up finally. We citizens must be alertto communications being cut during a martial law situation.

Tip of Rudy’s iceberg is his connection to the 911 coverup.

Giuliani’s sole qualification for President is that he happened to be Mayor of NYC during 9/11. How far down the barrel did the GOP scrape to find Rudy. He’s just another empty suit politician who’s trying to parlay the photo-op of a lifetime into higher office. America - be careful who you vote for - they just might get elected.

Rudy took the brown bag.

I lost two friends in the World Trade, lived through the clean-up which had spun off an odour that was at times disfiquring.

2 questions for Rudy:Why did he fly to Israel w/in just days after 9/11 when he had so much on his plate here?

How was it possible in 6 city blocks of complete obliteration for workers to come upon the partially chared passport of one of the hijackers? Was it spit out from the fuselage like a leaflet?

If anyone has specific, documented proof of his crimes, please post them with references. I do believe he is an imposter and a horrible person. But if a lesson is to be learned from the 2000 and 2004 elections: to oppose the republican human-flesh-for-the-canons-monsters we need to have undeniable proof of their wickedness. “I believe” is not enough. Look at Larry Flynt: he pays a million $ per scandal story and it doesn’t take him long to get those dirty MF running out their back door (read the article in Truthdig) !

In Rudy’s world Racist Police, ill paid firefighters (who can not even afford to live in the city they are charged with protection) a Catholic Church which pays no taxes on the slums it owns (even though firefighters are expected to protect those “seperated” properties) are OK. so long as they keep quiet.

I don’t understand why people continue to elect “prosecutors” as mayor. What is the experience they possess that qualifies them to run a city?

This is just the tip of the Rudy iceberg. Throw in his former Police Commisioner and business partner and now convicted criminal Bernie Kerrick, add his Campaign manaagers who have been busted for using prostitutes and dealing cocaine, and Rudy trying to steal 911 widow funds - it all adds up to a disgrace.

Giuliani is a fraud. He resides in the same near-sociopathic world that Bush occupies. Little of Rudy’s attention is drawn toward the needs of the people. It is all politics, much like Bush.
