These members of Iraq Veterans Against the War take street theater to a new, devastating level, breaking with the nostalgic tradition of Civil War re-enactments, for example, by bringing a taste of the horror and mayhem of the Iraq war to the streets of U.S. cities with “Operation First Casualty.”

Click here to see one clip from Operation First Casualty in New York City on Memorial Day.

Go to the IVAW site for more videos and news coverage about their re-enactments around the country.

I have been working with most of these men and women in New Orleans for almost two years now. They have come to Volunteer to gut homes for other veterans and musicians. They see that their military service was misused by the government and that their service to Americans in a disaster area was a great way to feel better about themselves after going to war for a bunch of lies. You don’t see VFW down here or Veterans for America either. you can also see more of their videos and stories about their actions at two other website I created for them.

This may be some of the best news yet.  While this will certainly disturb some of our citizenry, it will give us all a taste of what Iraq has had to endure for years, as we all know.  Right on, righteous ones, keep up the good work, and the pressure. I support you, and the Cause, and the action.
