bush beer

OK, so perhaps we were a bit slow on the uptake here, but it appears that ostensibly clean-and-sober President Bush enjoyed a beer with a few colleagues whilst in Europe for the G-8 summit last week, as this BBC clip shows.  Whatever it is, it’s a heady brew—watch as Bush pours a bit too quickly and it froths onto the table.

Og, as an alcoholic, what do you think of the wisdom/folly of drinking near-beer? (Which, I’ve been told, still contains 0.5% alcohol.) Doesn’t it indicate a desire to keep on boozing? Have you read “Bush on the Couch,” where the author goes into the cretin’s failure to go through AA and actually address his illness? The book makes the point that he’s not so much a recovering alcoholic as a suspended one. He might have stopped drinking booze, but he never got to the core of why he was doing it in the first place. And speaking as someone who’s worked in hospital with a lot of long-term alcohol abusers, I can see the signs of brain damage.

I don’t think Bushwit is actually on the turps (as they say down here) because his handlers wouldn’t let him. I DO believe he’s on pharmaceuticals to turn him on when he needs to be coherent for public performances, and to turn him off when it’s time for the puppet-masters to put him back in the box.

I DO think the handlers will make him crawl back into the bottle when his reign of error ends. It will be important to them that Chimpy gets severe brain damage in a hurry so he cannot be made to testify about what ACTUALLY was going on when he’s finally hauled before a crimes against humanity tribunal. Ironic that he will sacrifice his life to AVOID being true to his country.

As an alcoholic and an avid Bush hater there seems to be no story here. It’s a Buckler an NA beer. Too bad because as any alkie will tell you once one has some long term sobriety and then falls back to drinking the results are ALWAYS spectacularly bad. We would know right away if he fell off the wagon there could be no hiding it unless they put W into the “secure undisclosed location”.

George Bush is an alcoholic - period!  This is not the first time he has been caught drinking what appears to be alcohol.  He also occasionally appears drunk, although it’s a little hard to tell sometimes whether it’s intoxication or his normal confusion.  The real question is whether or not he still snorts coke.  In some personal appearances, he repeatedly snuffles and contorts his nose, which is sufficient probable cause for a cop who pulls over a black man.

Whatever it is, it doesn’t look much like an O’Douls.  The bottles on their website show a large oval-shaped label, rather than the rectangular one on the bottle Bush is pouring from.  Maybe they’re different in Europe?

S’pose Busch still attends AA? A good Euro Pils woulda’ settled an unsettled gut… stuff’s like another food group compared to US swill.

Frank, I have it on good authority that the Jews are responsible for those slightly crunchy seedy bits in Fig Newtons. And they drive me crazy when they get stuck between my teeth! For that I curse you forsaken sons of Abraham!!!!!

I can’t stand Junior as much as the next man, but this is really stupid. Are we really getting a kick out of watching him spill over some beer and than commenting on that?! It’s like we’re as dumb as he is… And in the meanwhile there’s a whole bunch of things going on that truly deserves our attention, but we’re to busy making shallow fun of poor Georgie boy…
para victoria…

“What’s with the Mel Gibson fan club in the comments section?”

I see only one antisemetic poster in the comments section.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

I appriciate your thought, because at the University of Maine the word “Jew” is used as a verb by students and professors alike, and I found that offecsive.

I must (as a fair minded Jew) point out that my people have had a pass on everything they DO WRONG since WW II, and in a way that is offensive to me also.

Jews make mistakes, as do all nationalities and religoius groups. since we are both, we are entitled to twice as many….but no more!

What’s with the Mel Gibson fan club in the comments section? Seriously, are we going back to the “Jews did it” good ole days of Nazi Germany? Bush lies the US into an illegal invasion: Jews did it. Torture: Jews did it. Economy crashing: Jews. Gay marriage: Jews. Is that how it works? It’s kinda fun, actually. “Fantastic Four II” sucks: Jews. Rain in the forecast: Jews. Oceans discovered on Mars: Jews. Solar flares: Jews.

Question to the racist moron sect: what, exactly, aren’t the Jews responsible for? Just want to update my Jew hating file…

it could easily be an alcohol free beer, hence no story at all.

bush behaves like a classic dry drunk who stopped drinking but never took a hard look at himself.

but the real story is still that making him president was an act of national suicide.

Pretty sure it’s a Hoegaarden. A Belgium “witbier” (white beer). It’s like Northern Europe’s Budweiser.
Best served with a lemon wedge.

Sadly, while his colleagues quickly moved past the rookie incident, President Bush continued to try to save face by repeatedly stating “This wouldn’t happen with a twist-off, which we have in America.”

Said Nicolas Sarkozy of the previous night’s informal kitchen dinner, “He [Bush] made the same excuse after attempting to open a bottle of Petrus Cabernet and spilling all over Angela Merkel’s pant-suit.”

All that tape shows me is that Bush knows how to give head, even to a beer.
Incidentally, how long have you guys been Jew liars? Or was that not The Truth?

Not an O’Douls, actually it looks like it is a buckler.  About 0.05% abv, so as close to non alcoholic as you can get.  I have had it, (my brother is a recovering alcoholic and likes them sometimes) and it isn’t to bad, for what it is.

I don’t like GWB, but you really can’t nail him for this one.

Bush has lied about everything. It would not be surprising to learn he lied about his recovery from a drug and alcohol addiction. Perhaps his upset stomach is just part of a bad hangover. Can anyone identify the bottle?
