Colbert

Cullen Murphy joins Stephen Colbert to compare and contrast the American and Roman empires. For all the old empire’s glory, its rampant poverty, disease and corruption, combined with endless war, make for an unwelcome comparison.

>>Publicly financed elections anyone? <<

It is the only answer and the only way to take our democracy back.

I can’t wait until horses replace the asses we now have in the Senate. All hail Bu$chenigula.

I remember when “Shot Gun” Chaney said conserving for the future was for wimps, now where is the man when it comes to global warming.

Believe me it is real, just ask the people who come to Washington State from Alaska, not only has tourism gone to pot, the polar bears are starving, hopefully they will get smaller before die out.

For the sake of expanding the empire, we will lose our republic.  Just as Rome did…
Well done neocon idiots! This is what happens when fascism comes to your town.

Good idea Chaseme. Only instead of a deserted island, how bout we put all of the Bushit administration and the corporate dicks that have stolen the rest of Americas wealth, on one of those big Greenland Ice Bergs floating towards the east coast.

Then if they make it back to the U.S. before they melt, maybe they’ll have enough time to figure out there really was a “global warming” issue. Hopefully a big polar bear won’t eat them before it melts as well. Or hopefully it will !

To a Better Day,

I am all for allowing bush and cheney to become Emperors.

I would also be willing to allow them to have all of the money they have stolen from the American people; all in $100 bills.

I think we should load them both, with their spouses, if they choose to be with them, along with all their stolen funds and send them off to their own deserted island.

Then maybe, just maybe after twenty five years, they will understand that none of the cash and wealth means a thing if it were not for us, the American people.
