Bill Maher assembled a panel, consisting of actors Sean Penn and Gary Shandling and Democratic Leadership Council Chairman Harold Ford Jr., to speculate about the myriad reasons (none of them good) why the U.S. turned down hundreds of millions of dollars in aid offered by other nations after Hurricane Katrina.

Just a side note....

Both Bill Maher and Sean Penn still believe the “official” lie that bin Laden carried out 9/11 from a cave...blah, blah, blah.

I expected it from Maher, but was very disappointed with Penn.  I thought he’d have more balls. Obviously not.

We are the worlds largest debtor nation.Obviously we have no problem accepting money from foreign countries to make sure we can give tax cuts to the top 1% but we are too proud to accept money for the bottom 1%.Which the Katrina victims became. We certainly are the shining city on the hill.If you are on top of the hill with George Bush you are doing fine.

I believe “they” turned down close to a billion in aid from Greece, Venezuela, Cuba, etc.,do we really have to ask ourselves why anymore? why the press chooses Anna Nicole Smith & Imus but not this? it is no longer about asking why anymore but taking action.  We all know the press & congress, will say and do absolutely nothing.

Trying to figure out the motives, secret agendas, deceptions and manipulations of the Bush-Cheney administration on Hurricane Katrina or anthing else is truly a challenge at times.

Things are often not what they seem regarding the Bush-Cheney gang. Take a look at:

“Iraq invasion and occupation, Gulf Coast hurricane disaster have links”
