CNN: Gonzales the ‘Weasel’Posted on Mar 19, 2007
Wow. CNN’s Jack Cafferty really doesn’t like Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. After calling him the definition of a “weasel,” Cafferty asked America whether the AG should resign. Surprisingly (or not), CNN didn’t get one e-mail saying Gonzales should stay. Watch it: Advertisement New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. Gonzo is one more example of the deceit of our “ruling class” and our speedy descent into facism. Of course Rove knew what was going on. He orchestrated it. Rove’s purpose is to keep Republicans in office. The US attorneys who were discharged had not assisted the White House in bringing alleged voter fraud charges against Democrats. The real crime here is similar to what Nixon committed: abuse of the power of the office to keep a particular political party in power. Abuse of power has become so common that we barely see it as a problem. That is the essence of facism: rule from the top to which no one objects.

I agree with the comment defending Weasels and in fact would add they are kind of cute. Gonzo isn’t either doing good or cute.
Let’s face the fact that the only answer to this mess is that Bush/Cheney should be impeached, convicted and removed from office at the same time and then they should be arrested under warrent of the court by the police and charged with the multiple crimes that they have committed against the American People and against humanity as a whole. Gonzo should not go free, but really he is literally the creature of the most brazen grab for dictatorship that has ever been committed in this country.

If only he would ask the same question about Bush and Co. That would give Bush a chance to dress up in battle fatigues, sleeves rolled to the elbows, and give us one of his little lectures about courage. It would be so much more realistic, perhaps even with a helicopter in the background and a tank while he rattles on about resisting and staying while not staying.
Of course they might have to put Helen Thomas in the back row again…But in time of “War,” and we all know how much the Bush and Cheney families have had to sacrifice.

I love Jack Cafferty, and perhaps the best part of his show is when he reads the e-mails from irate viewers.

Gonzales IS a total weasel. That shouldn’t be new news to anyone. I mean, has anyone listened to any of his hearings with congress over the past few years? No one can say nothing better than he can. Can you trust a man with such a condescending smirk? The Geneva Conventions are “quiant and obsolete”? Weasel is too nice of a word for him.

Mr. Cafferty, you make a big mistake when compare Alberto Gonzales to weasel. This comparaison will decrease the value of this animal and in the meantime you increase the virtue of AG. I think that this guy is far away below all kinds of animals !

Shame on all us once again for allowing another Bush to be coronated. We now have a needless war, billions wasted, corporations enriched, religion going political, and the war of terror has spread itself everywhere.
The concept of fighting them over their instead of here is a joke. Besides, which of our noble leaders ever fought in a war??

A weasel?
Harrumph. Weasels fill a valuable role, keeping down the rodent population.
I would not trust Gonzo to suppress rodents. Would you?
Find a better word than ‘weasel’.
