Faux News

“The Simpsons” has never shied away from biting the hand that feeds it. In this classic clip, the show eviscerates Fox News in what may be the greatest ever indictment of the network. It’s worth watching multiple times just to take in the “crawl.”

I said it once I’ll say it again—Animation is definetely the channel to communicate even harder realities.  Here’s one for the Simpsons which I only pray they borrow the idea, it’s for free, why not parody the tokens e.g. Colin Powell, Condi Rice & Gonzalez.  It’s rich with potential material how the power base, listen to Harry Belefonte’s take on “powerful” appointments on Democracynow.org, used a an African American to endorse us into the Invasion/Occupation, A Mexican Gonzalez to flush Habeus Corpus down the toilet and another African American, Condi Rice on how to shop for shoes on Katrina Day and mouth off even more support for her keeper.  No charge but the Simpsons could have a field day with the Tokens.

Sheez, what hyperbole. If this is the best Fox’s critics can do, O’Reilly can take a couple of months off and Rosey can sit in for Hannity. I only needed to watch it once to notice the editorial spin that definitely didn’t stop here.
Doh!

so true…. if more of us with a platform can communicate this point of view maybe…maybe the pendulum will swing to the left.
