Re: 54840
You know, I’m always willing to call a spade a spade, and the kettle black. Because there is nothing more pathetic than a black man calling another man a faggot. The worse insult that could be hurled against me when I was a kid was faggot, you a goddam faggot. Well, keep on being a stupid nigga and hate, hate, hate. Nevermind that white people have used the same argument against blacks, for centuries, that people are once again using against gays. When a group needs to be suppressed, oppressed, all grist is good for the mill. The blacks were raping all the white women, and so had to be lynched from time to time, being sexually depraved, and all. You just can’t trust them around yer women, ya know. That’s why you wanna keep ‘em at home after curfew falls…

Blacks condemning gays as sinners...oh let me throw up...either we all sit at the front of the bus, or we all get up and go back to the bus where we all can suffer again! The very hyprocrisy of one oppressed minority attacking another minority, includes white gay people being racist about black people. Perhaps, maybe perhaps, black people who hate gay people deserve white gay people who hate black people. Go at it. Leave me out of it. I am gay, first, and I am black, and anybody who thinks I am going to swallow my pride can go shag themselves and remain born again, and to put the icing on the cake, vote Republican! Go ahead, swallow that biblical crap about walking with Jesus into the land of prosperity and milk and honey, and while you’re at it, hold hands and sing with white people who just twenty years ago could not fathom having you and your wife for dinner. My, my, how common enemies make the strangest bedfellows! Such bedmates deserve each other. Yech! I have to go retch!

To Michael #54840 -

You wrote: “The Judeo-Christian-Islamic Scriptures clearly and explicitly condemn homosexuality.”

WRONG. The word “homosexuality” NEVER appears in the Bible. And “man lying with man,” as a sin, is ranked with such abominable behavior as wearing a robe made of two different materials and/or planting two different crops in the same field (Leviticus).

You wrote: “God’s hatred for homosexuality is unquestionably exemplified by the Divine destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gormorrah.”

Again, WRONG. “Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before Me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen” (Ezekiel 16:49-50).” NOTHING THERE SAYS ‘HOMOSEXUALITY’ Michael. They were “done away with” because they were arrogant (like you), overfed, unconcerned, haughty and did “detestable things” (I guess that covers just about anything YOU don’t like, eh?).

You and others who are prejudiced, bigotted and homophobic, JUST MAKE IT UP and then sanctimoniously hide behind your FICTITIOUS GOD stories to spew your hate-filled garbage.

And then you have the GALL to ask “Why must I be compelled to be accepting and tolerant of what I earnestly believe is immoral conduct?.”

Here’s your answer: BECAUSE YOU DON’T GET TO SET THE RULES FOR EVERYONE ELSE! If you expect others to “accept and be tolerant” of your FABRICATIONS and IGNORANCE, then we bloody well expect you to be tolerant of those whose lives you clearly know NOTHING about. I’m certain your GOD would expect you to accept and be tolerant of others and LEAVE THE JUDGING TO HIM/HER/IT.

Jeez I’m sick and tired of people like you who go around parroting BULLSHIT and cherry-picking biblical passages to suit your prejudices.

Re#54840 By M.A.B.:

A simple answer for a simple question: you are not being ‘compelled’ to be ‘accepting’ and ‘tolerant’ of anything.

You are being asked to allow men AND WOMEN (it just fascinates me that no one EVER talks about gay WOMEN--too much of a turn-on, eh?) the LEGAL right to live as they willingly choose.

You are using several books of the most egregiously outrageous lies, fabrications, and hate-filled fairy tales ever assembled to justify your squemishness over people different (are they?) from yourself.

If you’re going to pull that card, then stop being disingenuous and go the whole hog.  Start killing them outright: “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.” So spake Jesus, the alleged son of an alleged god, from the fairy tale Luke 19:27. “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” That fiesty Jesus, again, in fairy tale Matthew 10:34.

I’m not quoting out of context, here, these are the exact same lies you all used to justify the gutting of gays during the Inquisition.  Oops, sorry, did I let a little truth about your god of ‘love’ leak out?  Ooooo, doesn’t that spanking just sting like the dickens?

It has been my experience that those who most condemn a ‘sin’ are those most guilty of its commission.  This has been publically borne out by the likes of Haggard, Swaggart, et al. Just why are YOU so adamant about this topic, Mikael Abdul Bari?

Brilliant, witty, magnanimous, quiescent.  This gentleman is worth a billion christian hypocrites who secretly lust after him while publically decrying his ‘sin.’

When compared to this most excellent specimen of humanity, the frothing freaks who scream lies from a book of plagiarized fairy tales to condemn him look like the utter genetic failures they are.

Would we had a billion more of him and a billion less of his detractors.  The world would be a better, safer place; better dressed, and a whole heck of a lot more fun.  Just ask Ted Haggard!

The Judeo-Christian-Islamic Scriptures clearly and explicitly condemn homosexuality. God’s hatred for homosexuality is unquestionably exemplified by the Divine destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gormorrah. Why must I be compelled to be accepting and tolerant of what I earnestly believe is immoral conduct? Also, as an African-American, I find it highly insulting to compare Gay Rights to the noble struggle of Black people, the descendants of slaves, who have been subjected to the most horrific treatment in the annals of human history, to secure civil rights, human rights and economic justice in the U.S.A. To many liberal-minded Occidental people, sin is in!

John got it right.  He’s one of the few that knows what he’s talking about and communicates it well.
