Dance Dance ResolutionPosted on Feb 16, 2007
Jon Stewart mocks the ludicrous historical flights of fancy that Republican lawmakers made in speaking against the nonbinding anti-Iraq-surge resolution. It is always improper to give interested parties the police power over themselves. They always make a muck of it.
We are supposed to believe that it was so hard on the American People to hold our sitting elected officials responsible for their criminal acts that we must defer the only weapon the Constitution gave us to control them—“Impeachment”, conviction and removal.
I must agree that the resolution is shallow and motivated by people very like Lieberman, afraid taking a stand will endanger their cushy and exaulated status, Well none of them Lieberman included were meant to be heriditary rulers, actually not meant to be rulers at all, but administrators of the law.

Watching those highly paid circus members, so-called representatives, talking about and debating a so-called “non-binding” resolution, I was practically laughing and crying at the same time. I felt so low and sad about how confused my adopted homeland has become.
But before watching this circus, I read with a deep feeling of sadness and disappointment a February 15 survey by the UNICEF ranking the U.S. and Britain at the bottom of a list of 21 wealthy countries in child welfare. You can read more about this report at Washingtonpost.com.
Can we establish a link between these findings and evil Bush and Blair’s policies? Yes, we can and we should. For despite of being the two richest countries in the world, the most vulnerable segment of the society, children, fare worst in these two countries. While untold figures of treasure and human resources are wasted on colonialist wars based on lies, deception and pure evil, children are made the first victims of these evil policies.
I don’t know how conscientious Americans and British can sleep well when they read these findings. I am one who loses sleep over this, and it seems I can’t take it anymore! Wake up America! Wake up Britain! Wake up evil taxpayers who are financing these atrocities and evils!
