Here’s another clip of Fox’s right-wing answer to “The Daily Show.” As the clip’s YouTube poster wrote of the show’s creators: “Conservatives again prove they are adept at torture.”

I caught the show last night on Faux and it was such a trainwreck that I just couldn’t avert my eyes.

Maybe they should test the material on a studio audience or even a focus group.  How about some sound effects—like a rim shot every time the punch line fails to deliver.

Obviously the writers on this show do not comprehend the difference between humor and anger.

If you think this is painful to watch, check out StopHerNow.com.  The animated sections appear to have been created by the same wizard - but with even more brilliance and comic understanding…[insert laugh track here].

I thought the funniest part was the title: it says “news”...

They take themselves too seriously even when they try and act decent.

I think this new Fox show is great.  Here’s why:
The Daily Show and Colbert Report are comedy shows that satire mainstream news television.  This new Fox show is a satirical response to that.  So what we’re all basically looking at is “The 1/2 Hour News Hour” as a parody of a parody of mainstream television news.  Or, depending on your picture of the media in this country, “The 1/2 Hour News Hour” is a parody of a parody of a parody (Fox News) of mainstream television news.  I know, it’s so post-modern I want to vomit in my soup.  Simply put, how does Fox expect to have a good comedy program that is two-to-three generations removed from the original idea?  Now is the time, more than ever, to throw away your TV. - TheEnd

Funny? You want funny? Just imagine Hilary Rotten Clinton and Osama Obama on the same tickey. If that doesn’t tickle your funny bone, you are truly humor deprived. Go see Al Bore’s cinematic debut for a few belly laughs. The hyperbole is truly comical, but it’s Hollyweird’s favorite bull, so tune in for the Academy Awards, coming to your neighborhood soon. It’ll be a hoot.

Nice laugh track!  This show brings up the important question “How do people with no sense of humor expect to be funny?”  If this show bombs (if?) it will be the fault of the liberal media.  I have undergone root canal surgery more amusing than this.

This new fox program is a sham.
Well, if imitation is the highest form of flattery than it appears that the Daily show has started to pierces the Christian Iron curtain and gain converts. And the right who is really the wrong are trying to hold on to the faithful who are really the fooled.

Can’t remember the last time I saw such drivel trying to be funny. We aren’t far from Idiocracy’s Ow, My Balls ‘humor.’

Was that supposed to be funny? An answer to the Daily Show? I think not. FNC should just stick to what it does worst.
