CNN’s Ed Henry Needles Bush on IranPosted on Feb 16, 2007
The cable network’s new White House correspondent is quickly becoming a favorite of Truthdig’s. First he pressed Tony Snow on dubious government claims about Iran-Iraq links. Now he’s calling the White House on its BS about those claims. Way to go, Ed. Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread. Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts. Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with. Just a wee bit surprised there’s been no comment on this. Is that because we all tend to dismiss main stream media, or because we don’t care?
I for one care.
Seems much of MSM has not learned anything from their past mistakes, since many are now beating the drum for the White House on a needless attack on Iran. So, CNNs Ed Henry is a welcome example of the exception that proves the rule.
For that reason alone, we should thank him.
