Russ Feingold

Sen. Russ Feingold unloads on both Dems and GOP’ers for making only empty gestures on ending the Iraq war. Feingold, like Rep. Dennis Kucinich, is one of the few elected officials with guts on this issue.

Give this video a look.

I support Sen. Feingolds position of cutting off the funds for this illegal and imoral war. While the congress boviates, our young are being killed. I can’t for the life of me understand how any thinking person does not see that this administration is playing for time with our kids lives, not theirs. Politics is a dirty business indeed. Perhaps, we are the enemy. Apparently Nov,7 did not register with the Dems. I am about ready to drop out and just take care of my family and to hell with all of them.

Feingold needs to run for Pres, then we can have a real debate. Those corporate prosties running now, will have to find another street corner. Their empty b—-s means nothing to this voter.say

“...80 countries al Queda’s operating in…” — that tells you for sure that it’s a CIA / MI-6 provocateur operation — oh sure they’re recruiting seriously pissed off desperate rabble from every part of the Muslim world, but no way is this spontaneous blow-back — the War of Terror, as such, is so phony, it really casts doubt on Feingold’s honesty. He knows this, just like everyone in DC knows 911 was an inside job. They’re just all scared to death of the constitutional crisis they’ll have to deal with when the coverup is blown.

There are precious few among us with real courage.  Cindy Sheehan comes to mind, as does Lt. Ehren Watada.  Russ Feingold, too, belongs in that distinguished company for his opposition to an immoral, illegal, expensive, unnecesary, and useless war, without a hint of the mealy-mouthed equivocation with which so many of his Democratic colleagues hedge their bets.

Senator Feingold, like Senator Kucinich seem to have the well-being of the majority of Americans who people the lower and middle classes. I think they realize that without the two groups mentioned, there is no America. God-speed to both.

If the American people continue to elect individuals based on those individuals positions on things like Stem cell research, abortion or the role the religious minority should play in governance we are doomed.

We need men of integrity who stand for the majority and for the laws protecting individual rights.

I think these two men have refused to sell out to the highest bidder as so many politicians have.
