John McCain

Documentary filmmaker Robert Greenwald ("Outfoxed" “Iraq for Sale") produced this video (and accompanying website) to expose the blatant contradictions John McCain has made on issues like Iraq, gay marriage and the Confederate flag.

John McCain should win President because he is the only one running that cares for America and for the needs of America.

McCain first showed his true colors back in the eighties with the Lincoln Savings and loan debacle. He was one of the “Keating Five”. Keating being the owner of Lincoln savings that bilked thousand of old people out of their retirement savings. I know he was never indicted in this case but he was to cozy with Keating and where there’s smoke, there’s fire .If you lived in Southern California or specifically Orange County where the company was based you heard about it. It’s great that McCain was an honored war veteran but his character has alway been lacking.

Please. Pick ANY given politician. ANY. It is a simple matter to pull together their contradictory remarks. Lincoln spoke one way in Chicago and another way in Southern Illinois. McCain “cozying up” to the Religious Right? Yep. Does he need their support in the primaries? Yep. You’d rather he go down in flames as long as he’s on the “Straight Talk Express”? Perhaps he held himself out as different; perhaps the media did. I’ll still vote for him. He’s T. Roosevelt in W’s clothing.

It is a real heartbreak to see McCain fold like he did...he had precursory episodes prior, but the real sell-out point was when he hugged GW at the 2004 GOP convention. His further sell-out on torture in 2006 just made me want to puke...boy, has he ruined himself.

But let’s face it folks, we know why he sold out. That herd of ideological, authoritarian, racist, intolerant, under-sexed, and over-gunned idiots forming the core of today’s GOP voters wouldn’t support him in 2000, and now he’s trying to woo them into supporting him this time around. Surely, its his last chance to run for president...he’s definitely up there in years. And he’s selling his soul for it.

And yet, the great irony is that his ruse is not likely to work! I don’t think these core GOP voters have much for brains, but they’ll smell a fake from miles away.

Thus, John McCain will have sold out his soul and his most heart-felt beliefs for nothing.

Those who vote for candidates of the ilk of the con men depicted DESERVE to have their candidate WIN.

Anyone who believes McCain an honorable, truth-telling “leader” is so simple-minded as to be incapable of forming an “informed opinion.”

Oh… it’s nice to see Jerry Falwell looking more every day like the FAT PIG he really is. Talk about a GOLD-PLATED HYPOCRITE!

There was a time not too long ago that I though John McCain was the future leader of America.  A man of character who could make us feel proud to be americans once again.  I lost that pride in America six years ago and continued to be sickened and ashamed of this Bush/Cheney cartel of liars and crooks.  I hope there is someone out there who can bring us back to be the standard bearers of what right, moral and sane.  When I see John McCain cozying up to Falwell and his like I lost the respect I once had for the man.  The Republicans need to look elsewhere for a man of character to lead this country.  I am a Independent voter ( a reformed Democrat ).  I will vote for the individual or party that can lead us back to decency.  At this moment I have very little hope.

When a person suffer an illness as the one demonstrated by McCain in this clip, their love ones usually quickly rush them in for medical treatment.

Isn’t there someone out there who love this guy enough to get him in for treatment?

Boy did Greenwald nail McCain! McCain, like all politicians, talks out of both sides of his mouth. Elected leadership in this country stinks and it seems no one in D.C. can give a straight answer or they mix the truth with lies. I don’t like any of the candidates thus far for 08. These liars say anything just so they can get the job title of President. An example of people who have power, craving more power.
