Project Amad

The lawyers for Adel Hamad, a Guantanamo detainee, put together this video after traveling the globe to verify his story. After five years, the notion that potentially innocent men continue to be held without charge or trial undermines the very decency of our society.

Why isn’t this video shown by major TV stations in the United States?
TV stations not showing this video and others like it should lose their licenses the next time they come up for renewal.

I am an Australian and I am digusted that men have been held in this hellhole for 5 years without charge.  David Hicks is an Australian citizen and he has been in Guantanamo Bay for this length of time.  His crime supposedly guarding a tank.  Yet Bush, Howard and Blair have been complicit in the death of over 600,000 innocent people in Iraq and still bear office with no charges against them.  Its time the decent people of America, Australia and England stood up and denounced these murderers for what they are.  I see your president, who used “daddy” to escape fighting in Vietnam, wants to send more of your young their death.  Are you going to let him?

I suspect his case is not particularly unusual. We are becoming increasingly a gulag society at home and globally. The most criminal element however, are the thugs in charge. Any of us can wind up in the same situation as Mr Hamad.

Under fascist-republican rule for most of the past 25 years, the U.S. has become a totalitarian, fascist state.  George W. Bush combined with this trend to create the perfect storm.  Justice demands no less than that Bush gets exactly what he has given.
