Feingold Questions Study Group’s Judgment

Olbermann and Feingold

Flipping through the news channels on Wednesday, one would have seen an endless parade of pundits and politicians praising the Iraq Study Group’s report.  One exception was a man who was critical of the war before it was in style, Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), who told “Countdown’s” Keith Olbermann: “The fact is, this commission was composed apparently entirely of people who did not have the judgment to oppose this Iraq war in the first place….”

Psy-ops/black-ops everywhere. Negroponte’s death squads again on the prowl. British special forces, dressed as locals, driving around in car bombs and sniping at civilians.

This is a most successful implementation of the parallel psuedo-gang techniques developed by the British in Kenya to counter the Mau Mau and the strategy of tension developed by NATO and implemented by Gladio in Western Europe to counter the Communists.

It’s now reported the Saudis are funding a lot of this. Surprise! Surprise! The Saudis are up to their butts in al Queda along with the Carlyle Group, CIA and MI-6. Destabilizing chaos is the goal. Failed states, broken gates, easy to kick in and take over.

And the opium is flowing out of Afghanistan like never before. Why not, with the CIA back in the saddle, making any and every deal they like; torturing at will, whenever, wherever; you, me, any of us could be disappeared overnight. We are at the Fall, and there’s no looking back. The Fall of Western Civilization is upon us — nothing but lamentation remains.

Finally someone who has sense in the D.C. area. I agree with the Senator.  At least some one has the balls to say it. This Studt Group is a joke. Daddy Bush just getting his stupid ass son out of another fine mess. I don’t understand how anyone with a brain in their head, could vote for a moron who has done nothing but FAIL at everything he has done. This administration is a joke!
I say Feingold in 2008-he has the right ideas.

In response to comment made by #41359, John C on 12/8/06, right on we need a third party, these two are almost twins.  You know I am a democrat, but both sides talk out of both sides of the mouths.  I do think that the Republicans are the worse of the two, they took partatinship to a new high, if the Democrats get as rich as the Republicians will they go totally concerative, you know in this election there were a lot of Blue Dog Democrats, in other words get on the band waggon and change sides, because the winds blowing said the Dems were going to win, and Georgie should have heeded the warning, and he should have gotten rid of Rumsfeld, I believe that when this president says good job Brownie, Rumsfeld etc., what it means soon you will see the door.

The ISG Report is another sick joke, par excellance! It says that the situation is “grave and deteriorating”, implying that there is something that the U.S. government can do to improve it - by implimenting its 79 recommendations. What stupidity! What gall!

Frankly, I hope that Bush keeps doing what he is doing. It will bring us to defeat and an end to the killing faster than embarking on the implimentation of 79 dumb recommendations.

And then, when America finally experiences the full and deserved consequences and humiliation for its stupid arrogance, maybe it will begin to think and act better in the world, to the relief and benefit of everybody.

And maybe then the Democrats will rise to the occasion and put the nation back on a better course—or better yet, maybe the voters will finally wise up to the need for a new third political party - a true democratic, green, pacifist, socialist/capitalist party.

The first mistake Bush made was deciding to invade Iraq. The country had nothing to do with 9/11. I wasn’t disappointed in the study group. I didn’t expect anything.

I have noticed that except for NPR and Democracy Now there has been no mention of the ISG’s reccomendation that Iraq privatize all of its’ oil as a condition of continued financial and military support for the present governemnt that we pushed into power. Seeing as how most of the members have their fingers in the Oil business how is it that no one is pointing out that not only is there a conflict of interest, it is ludicrous to demand such an act from the Iraqi Government and its people.

This so called Study Group represents nothing more than the same old corporate interests that have been behind every nasty little war we have been involved in starting with Viet Nam. Why should they have any credability?

Feingold should be on the main media mind. The guy has balls to say the Dems are going to just let this go.
We won’t really know until January where the dems stand, hopefully the level of competence will rise
or at least some people in charge will know how to read.

Sen. Feingold, you expected wisdom, maybe?

Considering the makeup of the ¨Study Group¨even I could figure out that their task was to make the goals of the conservatives, which are the same goals of Georgie, Hotshot and co, just put in gentler, more acceptable term, they hope, remain viable in spite of the mess created by G,H,and Co.

I think Sen Feingold has the answer - when you make a mistake you should stop making the mistake.  The mistake was to invade so now we need to uninvade.

We do not trust any words in this report ! There’re no “civil war” at all in Iraq ! Just Iraqis have been killed by Iraqis. Those who had said “civil war” will be prosecuted as terrorists by the King.

The King is always right ! Viva the King !
