This week, our assemblage of Truthdig favorites includes a finger-wagging hypocritical evangelist; Andrew Sullivan flatly stating that Bush has come unhinged; and goons of Va. Sen. George Allen attacking a blogger.

No. 1:  Haggard’s Hypocrisy

In a clip from the documentary “Jesus Camp,” the now-disgraced evangelist Ted Haggard tells a congregation exactly what the Bible has to say about homosexuals.

No. 2: Andrew Sullivan: Bush Has ‘Lost His Mind’

For Bush to say that Rumsfeld and Cheney have done a “fantastic” job “suggests this man has lost his mind…. I’m sorry. There’s no other way to say it.”—Andrew Sullivan in a joint interview with Chris Hitchens on CNN. Brilliant stuff.

Mr. Scheer: You refer to a president who “...lied about WMD in going to war…” and in whose party you have no faith as to its hand in managing the elections “...who would lie about distorting elections, voting machines and so forth…;” whose CIA you suspect my kill Maliki at any moment, as they did their Vietnamese puppets—role players in the hottest episode vis-à-vis the cold war myth of Monolithic Communism, which you acknowledge as a parallel to the current myth of global Islamo-Fascism; and on all of this we agree. But, you fail to include amidst this plethora of maleficence that they obviously lied about 9/11 too, just as Johnson did about the Gulf of Tonkin Incident.

So, in light of the numerous “limited hangouts” now pouring out of the media, why not get in the vanguard and just say it? To continue with the “jury is out” line, dare I say, risks spinal comparison to John Kerry. You coach to undo them on every issue but 9/11. I say, as I said to you in Portland, 9/11Truth is the only issue strong enough to bring them down before they start WWIII, and I have little doubt you believe it. Especially if you’ve found the time to read Webster Tarpley’s “9/11 Synthetic Terror - Made in USA.”

In LA they are really totally bought and sold and you know it. But in San Francisco, I’ll bet they will not fire you if you just say it!. And, even if they do, once the nukes start flying, what difference will it make? At least you’ll have been right—SUPPORT 911TRUTH!
