Scarborough, Maher Debate Bush’s Idiocy, Free Speech

Maher and Scarborough
From MSNBC

Bill Maher spouts off about President Bush and his failed Iraq misadventure, during a two-part interview with MSNBC host Joe Scarborough.

Check out this can’t-miss two-part interview between Bill Maher and Joe Scarborough. Maher ends the first segment with a uppercut knockout punch straight to Bush’s jaw. We’d recommend watching it (part 1), but here’s the money quote if you can’t wait:

Maher: When people like me ask questions about, “Does it still make sense to have these troops under fire?” That is supporting the troops. Asking for a plan is supporting the troops. Sitting around and parsing the meaning of civil war, that’s not supporting the troops, that’s supporting the president. And he’s not a troop. He just plays one on TV.

In the second segment, Scarborough and Maher take up the “idiot” question. Bill says “the jury’s in” on this one.

We all know the president is required to get a yearly physical.  How about including a yearly mental.

But then of course nothing in the Constitution says severe mental illness, or certifiable idiocy, is an impeachable “offense.” Unless the “offense” specifically involves high crimes and misdemeanors, so says Congress, its hands are tied.

Which can only lead to one conclusion.  We need an Amendment to the Constitution which states that all elected federal government office holders will be required by law to submit to yearly mental examinations by a licensed physician.

Judy, it’s very simple.  Any debate on impeachment is being “held hostage” by Republican control of the House (which includes control of what comes up for debate).  We have the opportunity to change this in November.  If the balance of power does not change then, we have only ourselves to blame.

Bravo, Bill!  It’s refreshing to hear someone say on national TV what so many of us want to.  Still can’t understand why we can’t get “W” (Worst) impeached for his vile administration and cronyism.  Keep up the truth!

Scarborough should get a real job.  The reason Bush has been able to do so much damage is that the media is infested with Joe Scarborough types who follow the party line.  The republicans may not be able to run the country but they can sure run a propaganda machine.
