Is This Torture?Posted on Sep 20, 2006
The USA show “The 4400” featured this dramatized depiction of “waterboarding,” in which victims are made to feel as though they are drowning. Andrew Sullivan says it’s time to look at what our government is doing and call it by its proper name.

How ironic.
Just last night my wife and I agreed that instead of phony-ass Senators huddling up with Bush toadies in private to determine just how much torture is peachie keen for America, we ought instead to have a video produced which demonstrates exactly the specific torture methods Bush thinks ought to be perpetrated in the name of American liberty and democracy and freedom and all that neo-con HORSESHIT. Let all of us see exactly what methods our homoerotic voyeur president gets off on, and then we can vote to tell him that if he wants to stick baseball bats up his own ass or Cheney’s ass that would be fine with us, but we’d prefer he not do it to other people in our name, thanks very much. We still think American values are worth preserving, even if it makes police work a little tougher and les..well…you know…fun.
Where do you THINK the video went to? Don’t be nieve.

It was only recently removed, and we all know (suspect) exactly why—considering what’s in the news lately. I have searched for it extensively elsewhere with no luck. My friend watched it prior to its “censoring”, and said, “Good people would be shocked and call it torture. Bad people would turn a blind eye.”
Simply put.
