Michael, you misconstrued Bills meaning.  He was describing (criticizing) Ariannas position (The same as the “old” right which was in favor of “isolationism") unlike the hard right(fascist)/neoCons like himself who favors Pax Americana.  The same position they held throughout the so called Cold War which was just disguised Imperialism labeled anti Communism.

I really can’t stand woman who wear a lot of makeup and have a pasted on smile.  I can’t stand right wingers who have no regard for truth or honesty. I hate “debates” most of the time as they just present sound bites and no deeper analysis.

Specific to this exchange, AH expressed the real-politik views of Henry Kissinger of the 70’s, and Brandt and Adenauer before him. 

While we/I hate the fact that Saddam massacred the Kurds, it was with OUR weapons and with OUR choice to look the other way.

This, in no way, shape, or form suggests that Saddam represented a threat to this country.

A REAL threat is why we should go to war.  Saddam should have/could have been sequestered and/or removed using less costly means, which means to me, either give him $100B (i.e. 1/10th of what we will ultimately pay for this war of choice) to get out of dodge, or figure out a way and reason to kill him for what he ACTUALLY did to us.

I despise Bill Ohreally as much as the next intelligent person, but I have to admit, he didn’t bully Arianna (as much as he usually does his guests) and he was only slightly condescending. If I didn’t know better, I’d say he was trying to be charming. And he didn’t cut off her mic!

This is the first I’ve seen of the Kurd “PSAs”. Sickening and sad. And where did the money come from? From U.S. tax payers is my guess. From some rebuilding fund and into the pockets of a right wing production company with connections with the administration.

Have you ever noticed Bill O’Stupid’s long slender, rather effeminate fingers...? jeez, Bill, if my hands looked like that, I’d either keep them flat on my desk and away from the cameras or paint my fingernails.

That guy doesn’t want to find the truth or he would have already found it.  he just like twisting everyone’s words and talking over everyone.
