Bush Interview MSNBC
via crooksandliars.com

Watch with amazement as our commander in chief mangles the English language, and speaks nonsensically about the war in Iraq, America’s standing in the world, his relationship with his father, and Albert Camus. (Via crooksandliars)

Part 1:

Part 2:

Crooks and Liars:
For someone who does not like how the public perceives him, Bush does not help his case any in this interview. Take this little exchange:

WILLIAMS: When you take a tour of the world, a lot of Americans e-mail me with their fears that, some days they just wake up and it just feels like the end of the world is near. And you go from North Korea to Iran, to Iraq, to Afghanistan, and you look at how things have changed, how Americans are viewed overseas, if that is important to you. Do you have any moments of doubt that we fought a wrong war? Or that there’s something wrong with the perception of America overseas?

BUSH: Well those are two different questions, did we fight the wrong war, and absolutely—I have no doubt—the war came to our shores, remember that. We had a foreign policy that basically said, let’s hope calm works. And we were attacked.

I THINK, ERGO I‘M RIGHT:
(god confirms this)
One of the results of excessive alcohol intake over many years is the “Desire Equals Expectations Psychosis (D.E.E.P.),” also known as “Simply Hoping is Truth (S.H.I.T.)” or ‘wishful thinking syndromitis.’
Imagine a corporation where the marketing division has co-opted all the power. Hopeful fancy pronouncements of success, glory and marvelous products issue forth daily while the core entity hemorrhages cash, loses customers and is an irreversible decline.
Why am I not surprised that America under Bush’s leadership is an eerie reminder of the fantasy structure that once was Enron?

What a bunch of Bush haters. You all seem to want an elegant speaker who can look you in the eye and lie to you like Bill Clinton, but make you feel good about it so you can say, wow he’s so smart.  Several of you need to clean up your own grammar before you critisize Bush for his.

Do most of you like this idea? “If I do nothing, I can do nothing wrong”?  Are you are all going to vote for the party who has not presented any solution to any problem facing the country?  How can that make you “feel good”?

I say what we need is a third party who will say what they believe in and why they believe it.  And one that will stand up for America’s long term future.

The Republicans are taking us to Socialism just like the Democrats but at a slower pace. Both are bad for our future.

If you’ll notice, Bush instinctfully senses that his answers are not making much sense, which is why he’ll suddenly stop, change direction, cut off the questioner, and gradually get more physically aggressive with his expressions.
This man, George Bush, the President of the United States of America, is not fit to be our leader.  It’s so self evident that it’s sickening.
Something is terribly wrong here.

GWB just cant win with most people can he?  Now had he been dressed in a three piece suit standing behind a lectern acting all stuffy and evasive you’d be saying he was too much a politician or that he was being fake and trying to put spin on everything!  It’s funny to see so many people comment on his intelligence and “mangling” of the English language, especially when most of the ones doing it were never educated past High School and 99.9% of them were surely not educated at Yale.  I’d love to see how some of you would react with nearly every person in the world watching and criticizing your every move. He made some good and extremely valid points yet as usual NO MATTER what he says the same boring criticisms are thrown at him.  I’d love to see some of you vastly superior intellectuals argue your point face to face rather than from the safely anonymous chair behind your monitor.  Funny how being in that position magically increases ones IQ….get over yourselves!

Brain fuzz.  Confusion between programmed catch-phrases and genuine conversation.  An eckalectic reading list is not grounds for impeachment, but the leader of the free world should not sound like a stoner, with mental gears slipping off the track.  Eyes are rolling worldwide; heads in hands.  Somebody help!

Hey!  I’m still wondering about that mysterious bulge on GW’s back during the “debate” - given that the POTUS can barely hold an an intelligent conversation, how else could he have managed then, without coaching?  Funny how quickly the Media dropped that story - any way we can pick it back up again?  I’m certain I’m not the only one who’d definately be interested!

People here are afraid to use their real names because of their fear of this administration’s use of illegal wiretaps,  legalized torture, secret prisons?

The fact Bush was “elected” not once but twice as this country’s president says a lot about the state of this country. It is in rapid moral and intellectual decay of monumentual proportions.

Bush is clearly a raving mad lunatic and if these videos don’t prove it, people who don’t realize this have to be deaf, dumb and blind.

GWB is an untreated alcoholic/addict; his father got Billy Graham to supposedly sober him up and straighten him out by finding Jesus, back in ‘86.  Dubya didn’t find anyone, nor did he find AA or NA—the guy was a cokehead and tried drinking himself to death.  We’re talking a lot of brain damage and no recovery.  That’s why he can’t be mentally and emotionally present without the props in a controlled environment.  The dude needs to be locked up in rehab for about 9 months.
Thanks.

This definitely did not sound right the moment he said it. However, I feel that what he really meant was…keep expectations low but deliver high.

Ofcourse, we can’t still avoid the fact that he was very unprepared for the interview.

Bush does not have a cute way of talking.  If a person shows irrational patterns of speech we call on those who job is to judge whether or not there is evidence of a pathology, maybe a neurological crisis at work.  Where are those psychologists who routinely make such judgments?  Urge a complete medical report be taken that includes a psycholgocial and neurologoical work up.
This is serious, isn’t it.

The more I see and hear of GWB speaking “off the cuff” the more I question those “debates” with Sen. Kerry.

In those debates I thought both candidates did a credible job of at least sounding as if they were making and responding intelligently to points.

The comparison of Mr. Bush’s abilities to think on his feet and to put two coherent thoughts together in a row in these interviews with his performance in the “debates” is like day and night. (An unfair comparison would also be Bill Clinton to GWB… absolutely no contest.)

I can’t help but suspect one of two things: either the “debates” were “fixed” and both candidates colluded to put together a “show” that the public would buy, or, GWB is suffering some sort of senile dementia or other age- or stress-related mental disorder.

Whatever the case, it seems we can only hope he doesn’t do anything REALLY stupid before his term ends that will result in permanent and/or catastrophic damage to this planet.

I loved the part about his reading habits… if he read three Shakespeare plays and Camus on this last vacation, I’ll eat all four books. I’m a fast reader and I couldn’t even skim that much material in that time frame, let alone absorb it and/or learn something from it. He must just look at the pictures!

At one point the POTUS was asked whether if might be that his occupation of Iraq was creating more terrorists because it made people hate us.
He said no he didn’t see how that could be because “they came here and killed thousands of our people before I even thought about taking down Saddam”.
So there you have the idea that not only are Americans supposed to see some linkage between these two events but we can be sure it is also evident to the rest of the world.

The leaders of the world can be divided into three groups.  Those who are competent. Those who are incompetent but willing to learn from their mistakes.  And those who are incompetent and don’t know it.  Unfortunately, we have, in George Bush, a clear example of a member of the third group. How sad. How terrifying.

I cannot watch, nor listen to, this utter fool of a man people call POTUS (President of the United States).

It is painful to see or hear his dreadful illogic, his sick demagoguery, and his insane references to his own Godliness.

Eric Fromm asks the question, “Can a society be insane?” in his book “The Sane Society.”

We have in our lifetime come to see this happen as millions of people follow this sick POTUS, the disciples of his administration, and his court jesters at FOX.
