“The Colbert Report” host Stephen Colbert interviewing Georgia GOP Congressman Phil Gingrey, who calls the Iraq invasion—without a hint of irony—“the greatest war.”

Georgia Republican Congressman Phil Gingrey seconds Colbert’s motion that homosexuals shouldn’t be allowed to “gay up” the highways.

These Georgia Republicans were once Theodore Bilbo Democrats.  No surprise.

Georgia is the state where Ralph Reed is a serious contender for Lt. Governor.  This kind of asinine comment is no surprise.
