Allen’s Staffers Physically Attack BloggerPosted on Oct 31, 2006
Presumed staffers of Va. Sen. George Allen assaulted Calling All Wingnuts blogger Mike Stark after he yelled some arguably offensive questions at Allen. Earlier: George “Macaca” Allen really doesn’t like his opposition. This is a lower-res version, but it’s longer than the YouTube clip below, and shows that Stark was not physically threatening Allen in any way. Higher-res version: TAGS:

The ‘Brown shirt” analogy is completely correct - it may not be long now before it will be very dangerous even to have visited a website like this, much worse to have been a writer on it!!! Hasn’t stopped any of us yet, but the Nazi analogy is becoming more and more true, I think.
Report thisThe obvious being the Administrations drastic and determined efforts to strip us of our traditional Constitutional rights - Given to us nearly a quarter of a millenium ago by God and a handful of spiritual, educated men. They are consolidating power, removing any form of legal citizen protest or change, all the while shouting about Tradition and Family values. Anyone who has studied anything about how the Nazis came into power in post WWI Germany will easily see many things in common. It’s very scary - and since most people seem to have slept through history class, it’s being done again. Do you think the American people are somehow less easily manipulated than German people…I know many German citizens here in America over the years and they’re just like every one else, just have a differant accent. LOTS of Americans have noticeable accents too, ya know - doesn’t make them differant on the things that really matter such as family, careers, personal finances, retirement…most of us have to live and support ourselves and our families, pay the bills, go to work, take out the trash, do the dishes….life is mundane most of the time and we all live in a real world. But that means that determined people can trick and fool us while we’re distracted by our own problems - these people have hired the best advertising, psychology, media marketing political science wizards money could buy ‘cause that’s one thing they do have - LOTS of money - in order to use government to ensure there corporate aims. The citizen is nothing more than an important but replaceable cog in the huge money machine. A lot of people made a lot of money off of the Nazi government in the form of military contracts, etc. Their traditional forms of citizen’s rights were systematically removed and they used National Patriotic pride and religious motifs to con the populace - guess what? It worked! And, like the present, their ‘war policies’ failed! Their citizens were lied to, controlled, their nation ruined and their citizens impoverished after a World War!!!! The only thing left is the fact that those leaders were found to be war criminals and convicted by the entire world. It will be interesting to see if history truly does repeat itself once again.

Absolute proof of the inherent violence in Republican scumbag “brownshirt” morons.
Allen? What is he? Webb is an honored war hero, esteemed novelist, etc. Do the math.
Republicans are violent little nitwits and stuffed shirts with no moral values whatsoever.

“Antagonize and instigate”? Have you forgotten that in the supposed land of the free we have the ability, nay, the duty, to inquire as to the history of our elected officials and running hopefulls? In a country where free speech is the first ammendment, there is nothing you can say, short of threatening violence, that can warrant physical abuse, especially from those who are supposed to be upholders of the law.

The guy who was attacked was asking a question which had no relevance to anything. He was purey trying to antagonize and instigate trouble. All he wants now is sympathy and to make a make Allen look like the bad guy. Just another trick to manipulate voters.

Geo Allen is a person running for office, so that being he should expect all kinds of questions, after the Republicians are not above the same thing, Karl Rove really knew and knows how to smear and distort, the staffers really went over the edge. Another thought, when Kerry was running for president, the Reps really know how to put protesters in their place like as in a seluced spot far away from the compaingers.
This Stark fellow feels since he had served his country as a Marine should be able to ask questions, the person who does not want to answer questions should take the fifth.
But to think that money can buy this country! Not in my book, there is a expresion that goes like this “I’d rather drink muddy water and sleep in a hollow log”.
