Karl Rove
Crooks and Liars

During a tense interview with NPR, Karl Rove defended his claim that the GOP will hold onto both houses of Congress and accused host Robert Siegel of bias.

(h/t: Crooks and Liars)

Citing spending and contribution reports, Rove said, “at the end of August, in 30 of the most competitive races in the country—the House races—the Republicans had $33 million cash on hand and Democrats had just over $14 million.”

The money, Rove says, will be used for advertising, as well as to coordinate volunteers, the grass-roots workers who get voters to the polls.

And despite recent reports and polls that show a voting public fatigued by the direction of the war in Iraq, Rove thinks the midterm elections will be decided on other issues, too.

“I think Iraq and the economy play a role in virtually every race,” Rove says. “But there are also local considerations in the local contest between two individuals, that at the end of the day matters for a great deal of the contest.”

Heard that Geo. Bush Sr. was upset that someone would question him about his very irresponsible son.  He answered the questioner as a “father” defending his son with comments that tried to tug at the hearstrings of parents everywhere who would find it troubling to be questioned about their adult children.  EXCEPT that George Bush Sr. doesn’t acknowledge the rights of other parents to defend their sons against the bad judgements of his totally incompetent son in the White House. AND I don’t know of any parents, around where I live, that is, who are able to “hand” the presidency of the most powerful country in the world on to their son.  Bush Sr. your attempt to emotionally manipulate is shameful!

Where do we sign to have George W. Bush impeached for the many laws he has broken during his presidency?  Where do we sign so that this insane war just comes to a full stop?  Where do we sign to have our taxes directed to help those who today are suffering from hunger and homelessness, and ill health, and poor educational opportunities?
We voted the Republicans out, not because they are any less ethical than the Democrats, but because we want to clean up the White House now.  And those who were voted in shouldn’t take it too personally, but understand that we expect them to take care of the needs of the U.S. populace.

OK, I’ll ask.

HOW did such a pencil-necked geek come to RULE the most powerful government machinery in the world.

WHY CAN’T NORMAL PEOPLE (THAT DOES INCLUDE SOME DEMOCRATIC POLITICIANS) TAKE THIS ASS OUT AND TAR AND FEATHER HIM AT THE EARLIEST CONVENIENCE.

That’s what NORMAL citizens in a FREE SOCIETY would do.

Cook his “eggies”.

REPUBLICAN TECHNOGEEKS PLAN TO STEAL MIDTERMS

The much overblown overly-touted by the Corporate Media GOP “Get-Out-the-Vote”  horse-shuck might have some kind of effect on the elections…

But only if the Republican is somewhere near to or within the statistical margin of error with the Democrat.

However…Don’t forget…You might believe you have the math…but Karl “Porky” Rove has THE MATH…!

What does that swineherd know about the Bush-GOPutschist Swineery’s Election Day chicaneries & shenanigans that the rest of us don’t ?

LET’S HUDDLE FOLKS

I suggest we do this on the next election day to thwart the vote thieves:

Take a box and tape it shut; cut a slit in it. Place this box and blank sheets of typing paper and pens next to it on a table.

Take exit polls in this manner where there are diebold voting machines and no paper receipts for the voter.

My experience has been that when manipulators spin reality out of control, go back to basics.

I was listening to the radio when this came on and I was never so proud of NPR and Robert Siegel - Immediately 2 things lept to mind: 1-Rove must be getting awfully desperate to lose it like that, and 2-It’s going to be a helluva lot of fun watching that arrogant porcine bastard get his ass kicked!

Is there anyone in America that is more anti-American than Rove?  Isn’t he the one whose stated goal is a one-party nation where Republicans rule? Where Democrats are not even part of the representative system except as foils for Republican “realities”, rantings and lunacies?

How does that differ from communism or a dictatorship or a monarchy?  How unAmerican is that?  And where is the MSM?  Why do they not expose worms like this who advocate such an unAmerican and divisive approach to politics and Government?

I’ll tell you where, they’ve already been bought and sold to the powers that be. And the powers that be are Republican.  They OWN the MSM and the people that make the decisions on what real Americans see and read everyday.

If you want a recent historical parallel to this pond scum, look no further than WW II Germany and a guy named Joeseph Goebbels. I’m sure he’s one of Rove’s heros.

Spin crazy?  When I first heard it on the air I could have sworn Rove said

“You may end up with a different myth, but you’re entitled to your myth,” Rove said. “I’m entitled to ‘the’ math.”

Spinning the democratic math into a myth is pretty subtle.  How many NPR listening voters are swayed by that kind of spin?

What we all need to do for the next 12 days, is hit the mute button anytime Rove, Bush, Cheney, or Rice speaks. They speak lies, fear and manipulation.  We need to turn off all the ads on television.  We need to look at the facts, which reveal a complete and total failure by this administration on both the international and domestic fronts. As a psychology major, I can assure you, this group, next to Russia, are the most skilled we have ever seen at playing mind games on the citizens.  They have used the fear factor to freeze the minds of Americans and impair their abilities to think and reason.  Just thaw your mind, look at the facts, and decide that you will make it to the voting booth on November 7, if you have to crawl.  We must get the radical right out of our government if we are to begin to stop the hemorrhage.  I believe there are millions of Republicans who want this group out of power because they have disgraced the Republican Party as they disgraced our country.

Are Mr Rove’s polls “secret” that no one else can see?  Are they from the same “secret” voters that will show up in the vote counts on Nov 7th?
Why is it okay that Mr Rove spouts these batshit crazy things with his own numbers or “the math” ?
Must we all live in his nightmare of a world or can we put him in a room somewhere so he can live in a fantasy world without making all of us suffer, too?

the world really needs to see this fat piece of shit taken into the ICC roughly by big strong men. We need to seize all the money he has stolen, and have a TV channel devoted to reassuring us in real time, until he dies, that he is in stir, and eating one meal a day.
as long as this asshole’s out there taunting us, our lives are threatened.
rove, bitch, you’re under arrest.

I am glad Robert Siegel stood his ground and Rove lost his cool.

But lets not forget how spin crazy this character is, he is truly the master of manipulation.

His latest spin: ‘Staying the Course’ in Iraq cannot be used any more.

He will always put out a positive twist on any situation and if nothing else these word will fire up the Republican base, and do so with 16 more million in cash than the Democrats.

That Rove belongs in prison is another story and I hope we may see that some day, more likely though his punishment will just be a weight related cardiac arrest.

Karl Rove is simply preparing the nation for the inevitable “stolen” vote results before Nov. 7th.  He will be able to point to the fact that he had all the important information before the election to claim that his views were correct.

Since the 2000 election, every citizen’s vote has been up for grabs by the highest bidder and the new electronic bandits, runned by the Republican Party.  2002, 2004, and now 2006 will go down in history as major losses for the Democratic Party.  However, the real loss is the people of this country.  However, the people have no interest in waging war with their leaders.  Most believe naively, that all is well and that their vote is being counted honestly.

Mr Rove and company is very clear about the ignorance of the electorate and exploits it shamelessly.  The October Surprise is Bush now saying that “stay the course” was never his strategy nor his truth.  The press does not hammer Bush on this or any other “flip-flops positions” of his administration.

The true “Prestige” this fall is not the new movie, but that of the great magician, Mr. Rove. His diabolical trick will be to bring back the “Republican House and Senate.  The real results of this 2006 election will never be known, and will be defended hotly as being the Will of the people.

Mr, Rove intends to put an end to the Democratic Party and indeed, the Democratic process. Our lack of involvement in that process is more of the problem, than the take over of our government through dishonesty and deceit.  We the People, are the responsible ones for what Mr. Rove gets away with over and over again.

White men want to remain in power all over the world, and they will do ANYTHING to remain in power. Hitler felt this way and nearly did away with an entire group of people.  Slavery was predicated on the supposition that one group of persons had the inherent right to rule another group of persons.  In Mr. Rove’s case, weak verses strong is his mandate.  The American people are weak and easily traded for what the ruling class demands.

End of story.

We are witnessing the end of an “intelligent design” created by our Founders. ” Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” is a dream that lives inside a nightmare, and the dreamers are not expected to wake up in time.
