an authentic exposure of the confused and illogical thinking of another Republican member of Congress. This man is part of the face of America to the world! No wonder they look askance at us!

Well if given a choice I wouldn’t vote for either. I will vote conservative though, because their views are the only ones that are right for the country.

Why is the title so misleading?
“Colmes Destroys GOP Candidate”
I didn’t see the man get destroyed? If getting cut off when he tries to answer a question and then trying to finish his answer a few times is getting destroyed, then it really shows how biased this writer is.

I think everyone is missing the point of Robinson’s ad. It simply is a wake up call to what our elected officals think is important. I’m sure some where down the line someone makes money on those stupid studies, and I’m sure the ones that make the money give great contributions to that canidates campaign. Almost all the polititians do this and it will never stop. Thats the type of country we have become. As for all those asking why Bush twins have not joined the military, Why havent you? Its not for everyone. It take a special kind of person to enlist now, and even a rarer one to make it a career. Just so yall know, when a polititian visits Iraq or Afganistan the only go to the safest areas possible and will never visit troops in the actual Area of operations where the real fghting is, so dont think to much of them, they only do it for publicity.

It is well known that Colmes is a stooge for Hannity, and he as much admitted this to Al Franken. That is about as dishonest as humans can possibly be—intentionally having a stooge on what is supposed to be an honest debate show. The fact that Colmes occasionally gets a hit is required to keep up the ruse of his being effectual.

I’m at a loss. I cannot figure out which is more mind blowing—the disgusting nature of the ad or the fact that Colmes has apparently grown a pair.

This is a good example of why the Republicans have lost the support of the polity. It is an “ends justifies the means” approach to politics which ignores morality and honesty (notice I didn’t say truth) and positive discorse. Instead is seeks the sensational, the lurid and takes a tabloid-gotcha approach to politics.
It is legitimate to debate budget priorities and voting records. It is illegitimate and dishonest to take a complex vote on an omnibus spending bill that is the result of the political power of the party in control of the agenda, compromise and trades and cherry pick some small expenditure therein.
But this candidate is not interested in political discourse or budget priorities, or the bettering American society. He is interested in winning ant any cost. Which is the best evidence that he doesn’t deserve to.

tpartier raises an excellent point. Why have the Bush twins not yet enlisted in the war on terror? Are they cowards not willing to serve their country?

This guy has got to be one of the worst excuses for a politician that has ever raised his ugly head in North Carolina politics. And, that includes Jesse’s Congressional Club.

I think it is important to realize that the ‘spurious’ studies that Miller ‘voted’ for all came under the umbrella of either the NIH or CDC (I don’t recall which). Now, just suppose that Miller didn’t vote the appropriations for the agency - then he would be derelict for not supporting the disease fighting efforts of the government and there’d probably be some geese flying away from a few dead ones in the woods waiting to attack us all.
Hey - at least Miller has more courage than the Bush twins - he at least went to Iraq.

Great, the Democrat is a schmuck and the Republican
is a putz. Let’s face it, the most qualified and
upright people rarely run for office. We end
up choosing the lesser of two weasels. It looks to
be more important then ever to have more choices
than we have now. Two sides of the same rotten coin.
People will vote for the guy running this add
while never knowing what HE stands for. Both
sides know that it is very difficult for the voters
to stay versed on the important issues and that
these seedy sound bites will likely win out.
This is partly the peoples fault for relying on
representation to do the right thing and not
taking an active role.
Remeber one thing, this add did not list all of
Report thisthe supporters of these ridiculous agendas. So
there are likely dozens that voted in kind.
