When publishers announced the forthcoming release of “Adios, Mofo: Why Rick Perry Will Make America Miss George W. Bush” in August, The New York Times ran a notice referring to the book only as a work “with an unprintable title.”
The book, written by “Bush’s Brain” co-author James Moore and Texas political operative Jason Stanford, takes its name from comments Perry made on camera after an interview he apparently didn’t enjoy.
It gives us a chuckle to think the paper of record is too sophisticated to print something Rick Perry said on television. What an obscene man (or just an uptight newspaper)!
More on the book, which is out now, from the Houston Chronicle here. —PZS
