We keep trying to read the tea leaves each time news or rumors about Sarah Palin’s blossoming media career hit our radar—i.e., does this mean she’ll be too busy to run for, you know, president? What would it mean for her chances at the White House, for example, if she were to appear in a television show about Alaska she created with the help of reality TV megaproducer Mark Burnett? Welcome to 21st century American politics.

According to ABC News, that’s just the idea she’s shopping around Los Angeles this week. —KA

ABC News:

Three broadcast executives, who spoke on condition of anonymity because their networks don’t publicly discuss story pitches, said Thursday that Palin was meeting with officials at ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox this week. The meetings were first reported by Entertainment Weekly.
