The New York Times Refused to Print This Book’s TitlePosted on Nov 21, 2011
When publishers announced the forthcoming release of “Adios, Mofo: Why Rick Perry Will Make America Miss George W. Bush” in August, The New York Times ran a notice referring to the book only as a work “with an unprintable title.” The book, written by “Bush’s Brain” co-author James Moore and Texas political operative Jason Stanford, takes its name from comments Perry made on camera after an interview he apparently didn’t enjoy. It gives us a chuckle to think the paper of record is too sophisticated to print something Rick Perry said on television. What an obscene man (or just an uptight newspaper)! More on the book, which is out now, from the Houston Chronicle here. —PZS

Well, it is an inappropriate place to print those words because even though the 4 letters do not have any english meaning, most of us know the derogatory term that it actually stands for. This also goes to show that the comments made by Rick Perry is highly unsuitable to be said by anyone.

Our system and most of its institutions is corrupt as it has always been with the ruling and capitalist elite constantly at work fine tuning the works to ensure that we the people stand divided amongst ourselves as well as kept blind and confused regarding the amoral and frequently illegal manipultion of the constitution. What is most unfortunate is the blissful ignorance enjoyed by so many of our citizens too lazy or complacent to challenge their self-defeating prejudices and supposed values. Politics should not be a career and businessmen are nothing more than glorified hucksters who have gotten rich by bribing career politicians into authoring laws and loopholes which legimatize their thievery and fraud!
