Onto the marches we go, chanting all the way! This season, don’t look to bells on bobtails to make your spirits bright. Kindle the mood with dreams and songs of Occupation, sung to the tune of “Jingle Bells.”

Chorus

Occupy, occupy
Occupy away
Oh what joy it is to know
That we will have our say
Occupy, occupy
Occupy away
Oh what joy it is to know
That we will have our day

1.
Started with a few
Camping in the square
Saying we got screwed
We’re here to claim our share

2.
Zuccotti was the first
Soon cities everywhere
Had occupations call
For justice and what’s fair

3.
No more corporate rule
Of government and press
Our kids in jails or lured to war
For profits in their nests

4.
Evicted from our homes
Sold a pack of lies
Occupying foreign lands
Bombs raining in their skies

5.
With mortgages banks preyed
Worthless papers all
They bundled, sold, and then they bet
That everything would fall

6.
Folks working sixty years
Saving for the time
When they can take a rest from toil
Now no one has a dime

7.
We’re marching on the banks
We’re taking back our homes
Claiming rights to school and health
To truth, our dreams and poems

I think both the Democrats and Republicans should hereinafter be called “Republocrats” - a two headed beast who destroys anything in its path to achieve bottom-line results for the wealthy.

All who aspire to creating a better world should give serious thought to and be inspired by events in Syria.  The courage of its citizens who continue to demonstrate in the streets against tyranny and corruption despite thus far incurring over 5,000 deaths (24 today alone), is monumental and historic.

Now the question is, what do we do about the scam elections coming up in 2012?  Both parties are obviously evil, so trying to discern the lesser is not really an option, it seems to me. Do we write-in Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren, or do we boycott?  Either way, we make a much louder statement than to vote for Obanker (as evil as Bush in most ways).

Occupiers should be marching on Washington (where the real power is via favourable laws passed for the rich in exchange for money from lobby groups) and singing there, not on streets or parks or abandoned buildings - there’s a tough fight ahead as the powers that be aren’t going to give up power so easily. The government and lobbyists will do everything they can to muzzle the average American into submission - my fear however is that all this talk of changing politics is for nothing and the very people who protest will go into the voting booth and vote for Obama anyway.  What Occupiers need to do is to get a third party man (like Ralph Nader) onto the ballot for every state - you will require a lot signatures - there’s a lot to do ... otherwise the occupiers are just mucking about ...

Lets have some more sing-a-long fun for Occupy Wall Street.

Hello Faddah
Hello Mama
I’m Occupying
Camp Obama
I’m protesting
Wall Street grabbings
And trying to avoid the hobo stabbings
On my iPhone
With my last tweet
I down-twinkled
Jews on Wall Street
Please don’t worry
About psychosis
‘Cause my Guy Fawkes mask repels tuberculosis
We are saving
This whole nation
With some squad car
Defecation
We went marching
in Zucotti
And got applauded by the Nazi Party
There’s a raping
Every day now
Some are straight and
Some are gay now
Latest outbreak
Dysentery
In the food tent over by the Ben & Jerry’s
Taaaake me home
Oh Dad and Mama
Taaaake me home
From Camp Obama
Don’t leave me
Out in the plaza scent
Made by
The 99 percent
Cosign loans
Oh Dad and Mama
Don’t make groans
Oh Dad and Mama
‘Cause Van Jones
Assures me that it’s cool
For me
To go to graduate schooooool
Just a minute
Dad and Mama
Got a message
From Obama
He doesn’t like the
way we’re livin’
So our student loans are hereby all forgiven
No more worries
No more bothers
All thanks to our
Founding fathers
Our dear leaders
won’t let me fail
Dear Mom and Dad please disregard this email

(Thanks to Iowahawk)
