Actress Julianne Moore visits the 66th Venice International Film Festival in 2009.

So, as per usual, Italy’s own media baron and embarrassment-in-chief Silvio Berlusconi is embroiled in another sex scandal involving another teenage girl. This time, however, he’s made it worse with homophobic commentary that didn’t fly with actress Julianne Moore.

Moore, in Rome this week for the city’s annual film festival, took the Italian PM to task as she talked to the press about her latest film, “The Kids Are All Right,” and picked up a lifetime achievement award.  —KA

Variety:

Also remember the worlds fate because of Mussolini. Women channels seem to get it when I describe Mussolinis’ influence as the spirit wed to Hitler. Pushing the active psychopath is one of the great joys of spirit channel secret society.

Berlusconi is symbolic of the political dysfunction that has gripped Italy for only god knows how long.  He is also an arrogant little prick who does whatever the hell he wants.  No wonder he was a favorite of Dumbya’s.

Why do women fall for Berlusconi? Because he has lots of power. Remember the ugly and short Senator from Texas? Same story.

Unfortunate, archaic and idiotic: yes, Julianne, that’s exactly what MR. BERLUSCONI is. A silly old Mafia don who should have been put out to pasture years ago.
