Internet Pranksters Ready to Send Teen Idol to North Korea

Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber invited fans to pick the destination of his next tour. Some clever hooligans over at 4chan decided to hijack the vote and send the teen heartthrob to—where else?—North Korea. With a day and change left to vote, the Hermit Kingdom was beating out second-place Israel and third-place Poland by a few thousand votes.

BBC:

Given the fact that almost all citizens of North Korea are denied internet access and there are restrictive controls over all media, it is unlikely that any of the votes have actually come from within the country.

A spokesman for the North Korean Embassy in London told BBC News that any application for 16-year-old Bieber to tour would be dealt with by its mission to the United Nations, although the matter would be referred to Pyongyang.

Too bad Bieber’s a Canadian.  The Republicans could run him for president.  Another vacuous, no-talent, bubble gum dipstick . . . kind of like George Worthless Bush.
