Filmmaker to Spill Scientology Story

“Crash” director Paul Haggis, pictured here at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, is ready to say more about his 35 years with the Church of Scientology.

His defection from the Church of Scientology’s celebrity coterie was big news in 2009, and now writer and director Paul Haggis is following up with a detailed exploration of his former organization, in the form of a book collaboration with journalist Lawrence Wright.  —KA

New Yorker staff writer and Looming Tower author Lawrence Wright is writing what his agent calls “the most profound reckoning to date” with Scientology, told through the eyes of director and apostate Paul Haggis. This should be good.

Haggis spent 35 years as a Scientologist before angrily and publicly ditching the cult in 2009 after he became convinced that leader David Miscavige is a violent nut. He hasn’t spoken publicly about Scientology since, but a “blown” celebrity (to use the Scientological term for leaving the fold) like Haggis is Scientology’s worst possible nightmare—it can smear and threaten rank-and-file detractors all it wants, but when one of its former leading lights is making the charges, it’s harder to strike back.

Hello again Truthdig and hello Bill Boyarsky.
There has been 2 legal items that have been going on with me in the past few days. Certain people trying to
cover-me-up just seems to a bottomless pit.

I tried to leave a comment on a former Scientologist’s (Mark “Marty” Rathbun) blog. It had to do with John Connolly and other people. My comment was waiting (Moderate) but never made it. Then I tried to leave a comment on an anti-Rathbun blog
(A Pro-Scinentology blog) and THAT comment never made it.  Good Grief…..........

Here is most of what I tried to leave on Marty Rathbun’s blog.
“Hello Mr. Rathbun. My name is Mario Nitrini. I have had Contact with lot’s and lot’s of people connected to several very high-profile cases. One is/was The AnthonyPellicano Federal Indictment Case.

When I was reading the allegations (Double Agent per se, aka SPY) about John Connolly that have been made on this blog with you and some of the comment’s, all I could say to myself is>>>>WOW

NOW FOR SURE, there is NO DOUBT in my mind now that John Connolly, Paul Barresi, Cheryl Shuman, Bill Pavelic, and several others were in an Illegal conspiracy, along with certain people either in Scientology and/or connected to Scientology, to have me illegally thrown into jail for the rest of my life,

(saying that I raped Cheryl Shuman on orders from actor Steven Seagal to Anthony Pellicano).

I’ve got legal proof and audio tapes, and a lot more…………. Please read about some of it on my blog Legal Justice for me and the Bill Wasz blog I have.

Mark Ebner.

Mario – You need to get in touch with my boy John Connolly. He’s doing the book on Pellicano for Simon & Shuster. Contact him directly at John (DELETED FOR THIS COMMENT) Tell him Ebner sent you.  Ebner”

Also, I asked Mark Ebner this:
“From: Mario G.
Date: Oct 22, 2006 12:25 PM

Hey Mark,
Look at this article from Roger Friedman of Fox news that was Published yesterday:
Saturday, October 21, 2006
By Roger Friedman
Jeopardy For Lawyer In Pellicano Case”
And Mark Ebner’s answer to me?

“From: Mark
Date: Oct 22 2006 9:19 PM Subject: RE: Fields/Pellicano/Fox News

And how could Mark Ebner possibly have know that (EXACTLY)?
JOHN CONNOLLY and “Leaking Pipelines.”

And Mark Ebner is not the only person that tried to sucker me into contacting John Connolly. I got correspondence from a Dr. Nomi Fredrick
(The same Dr. Nomi Fredrick that was involved in the death of film producer Don Simpson) that are UNREAL trying to sucker me………involving John Connolly, Pellicano, Bert Fields, and more…..And I mean UNREAL………

When I was a guest blogger on Pererro, there were Cease and Desist notices sent to the Pererro website demanding that certain portions of my blogs be erased>>>>GOOD GRIEF, more of the truth covered-up…….

Now Mr. Rathbun, please understand, I am not a very-well liked person among the media, law enforcement (Federal and The State of California) and more, and I really don’t relish legally fighting all these Illegal Government Agencies and Government people anymore, but if something is brought on me, I will legally defend myself to the legal MAX, and many items, evidence, and more that certain people and agencies have been trying their best to cover-up for many years,

WILL-COME-OUT (My audio tapes, legal document’s, and a whole lot more…….)

The question for now is, and it goes into several directions:

Why would certain people in Scientology want me thrown into jail for the rest of my life?”

I would sure like to fine out what the truth is about me and Scientology. GESH.

The OJ Simpson Case
The Anthony Pellicano Federal Indictment Case
The Biggie Smalls Federal Lawsuit Case
The Michael Jackson Cases and Saga
The Robert Blake Case

You know, I’ve grown a bit tired of Scientology exposés.

In a world where crimes against humanity go unpunished, where the U.S. is teetering into the realm of Imperial Fascism (if it has not already done so), Scientology just doesn’t matter that much.

So, if a bunch of well-heeled idiots entrust themselves to a fraudulent organization of their own will, who cares?

I’m more concerned about attacks on Social Security and Medicare, which will affect me.

The French Church of Scientology has been found, by a French court in 2009, to be guilty of fraud by an “organized gang” (my translation) - which is the term applied for infractions of the law by multiple persons who commit a crime in an organized manner.

The term is applied to the “Mafia” in France or any organized gang working in concert.

The damages that the French Church of Scientology was obliged to pay was close to $840K in total (to a group of plaintiffs).

Amusingly, the court indicted Lafayette Ron Hubbard as well ... who was asked to appear in Court to answer charges against him. Of course, L. Ron Hubbard was “unavailable” and is yet to rise from the dead.

Where I am sure he has had lively conversations with his namesake, General Gilbert du Motier, the Marquis de Lafayette.

Don’t you think he’s already torturing himself over that?  Someone near and dear to me and my family was a member of the Co$ and I told him early on (like 1980) they were milking him and keeping him from doing what he really wanted to do (which would have dried up his involuntary servitude to them).  It took him many, many years but he learned…he had a problem with another Co$‘r (a super-scumbag if there ever was one). The “Church” backed the scumbag and shunned this guy.  All of a sudden all his “friends” weren’t friends.  Surprise!  He’s been free of them for 10-15 years now. Kicker?  The super-scumbag got kicked out and sued the Co$!  I wish the judge would say “You are all worthless shits. I’m taking ALL your money and giving it to homeless shelters!”

I’ll be curious to see how Haggis explains 35 years of servitude to an organization
that any average person can see is a fraudulent rip-off.  Shouldn’t he be seriously
wondering what glaring character flaw lurks inside his psyche and where it’s gonna
lead him in the future?
