Aaron Sorkin to Shoot Film About Fallen ‘Politician’ John EdwardsPosted on Jul 16, 2010
Aaron Sorkin made his name as a writer and producer of “The West Wing,” so he clearly knows a thing or two about political drama. Turns out he also really wants to direct movies, and he’s gearing up to make quite a debut with his big-screen adaptation of “The Politician: An Insider’s Account of John Edwards’s Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down.” Yes, that would be Andrew Young’s tell-all about working for former presidential candidate-turned-cad John Edwards. Sorkin seems pretty excited by this project; we can imagine, however, that Edwards doesn’t share his enthusiasm. —KA

Maybe this will lead to Sorkin getting a job for the national enquirer!

Why don’t you make a movie about the biggest Medicare fraud in the history of the U.S.A (so it was announced)which was uncovered in Florida, wouldn’t this be more relevant to the americans?

I would hope Aaron Sorkin could find something a
Report thislittle more relevant to make a film about than
John Edwards. His priorities seemed to be distorted.
Of course if he is not knowledgeable about other
more relevant issues then I guess you make a film
about John Edwards. I would ask, “Why is he making
the film?” To glorify himself and receive an award?
I hope not.
