Red Bull Cola
cemp.ac.uk

Turns out that Red Bull Cola gives you more than just “wings,” according to scientists at The Health Institute in Germany’s North Rhine Westphalia who recently discovered that the fizzy drink contains small amounts of cocaine—very, very small amounts, in fact, but enough to cause a handful of German states to ban the beverage.

UPI.com:

Red Bull, of Santa Monica, Calif., says on its Web site it uses coca leaves as a flavoring agent in the making of its cola, but insists it removes the illegal cocaine alkaloid. The alkaloid’s removal is required for the sale of coca leaves outside the Andean region of South America, [Time] magazine said.

Coca Cola still uses coca to “flavor” their drinks as well.

I believe that this piece of news is the best free advertisement any product ever had. Watch for this piece of news spreading through the word of mouth, and you will have Red Bull Cola posting record sales and profits. Even if the physical high given by this drink is insignificant, the psychological high of its consumers will be beyond measure at a time when large numbers of people will continue to seek an artificial high from the pains of modern times!

Even I, though never sought escapism in artificial stimulants, I am feeling a curiosity to try the Red Bull Cola and see what it does to me as one who was born under the Zodiac Sign of the Bull!

Coca has been used for ages by the indiginous people of south america, and there is nothing wrong with the use of the plant like that. Substracting cocaine from the plant and selling it for profit is evil, but using extracts from the plant in a beverage should be allowed.

The original Coca-Cola had more than trace amounts of the real thing. Not sure why it matters, since one would have to drink a hell of a lot of coca-cola to get high. The rest of the ingredients would kill a person before they had enough of the coca to light ‘em up.
