The Reason the Repugs are in such a philosphical pretzel is because they have based their platform on the the twisted theology of the ‘Armegeddonists’.
What the Repugs are finding out is that the younger generation actually does not buy into nor intend to work towards ‘end of days’. and when those New Republicans gather momentum, the Neo cons sociopathic destructive platform will be exposed. Young Republicans not only See a Future, they Want a future- unlike their “old” counterparts.

Yes Rove is creepy and DANGEROUS.  You must remember that he has been building a power base inside the Republician party since he was caught “dirty tricking” in the ‘72’ election. His power allowed him to OUT a serving CIA officer with impunity, have trumped up charges acted upon by ‘loyal Bushies’ to imprison a Governer, reveal classified intelligence to lobbiest for political reasons and other questionable antions.
