Studio honcho Harvey Weinstein is a force to be reckoned with—it was no coincidence that Disney subsidiary Miramax became a major player in the film industry under his watch—and recently he reportedly attempted to use his powers of persuasion to convince House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to follow his plan for a Democratic primary revote in Florida and Michigan ... or else.
CNN.com: In a heated phone call with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi late last month, Hillary Clinton supporter Harvey Weinstein threatened to cut off campaign money to congressional Democrats unless Pelosi embraced a new plan by the movie mogul to finance a revote of the Democratic presidential primaries in Florida and Michigan, according to three officials who were briefed on the contents of the conversation. The three officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk publicly about the private phone conversation, said Weinstein, a top supporter of Clinton’s presidential campaign, appeared determined to buy Clinton more time in her battle against Sen. Barack Obama by pushing for the revote and pressing Pelosi to back off her previous comments that superdelegates should support the candidate who’s leading in pledged delegates in early June. Don’t forget that Harry Weinstein paid for (financed) Farenheit 911. Who knows what motives Moore & Weinstein had beyond making money?.....Though the film had the affect of shifting our view toward Saudi Arabia. Oddly, Moore’s movie was more informative than any truth that oozed out of the 911 commission.....And the whole world has seen bush on that morning reading “My Pet Goat” as the attacks raged. My point is that HW has had a BIG roll in framing 911 in the American consciousness..911 the Neocon’s gambit was the opening move for endgame of the Neo World Order. They have set out to rule the world by any means and paid for by lives of U.S. young people in blood and U.S. taxpayers in treasure ...... Farenheit 911 was notable for pretending fearlessly to tell the unvarnished truth about the Iraq war, while totally failing to tell the most important truth about it: namely, that the war was conceived by its planners for the benefit of Israel, and rammed through Congress through the power of the Israel lobby.
No wonder Mr. Weinstein was happy to fund the movie.

Big fish in small pond
People who are powerful in the movie business are very powerful in their world—wannabes quake at the sound of their voice, tables are saved for them, starlets laugh at their jokes. They get used to it. They start thinking they’re not just powerful in the hermetic world of show biz, but that they’re just plain powerful people. Mr. Weinstein’s ego has obviously progressed to that point. And soon he’ll learn that while his money is good, he’d better keep his strong-arming on the set.

Hillary was handed MI on a silver Platter. The fiasco Date change was intentional (knew Obama or Edwards would have taken the State- I voted Kucinich, but knew either one of those tow would have walked away with it- that would have been the ‘contest’). Does Mr. Weinstein understand that he cannot just snap his fingers and make it happen? Does he understand that legislatures in both states would have to approve any plan that he hatches?
Probably not, he’s used to getting what he wants when he wants it.

Hillary Clinton’s refusal to cease her lost-cause presidential campaign is bizarre, i.e., her will-to-believe is not enough. I now question Sen. Clinton’s judgment and her fitness to ever hold the presidency, i.e., we do not need another delusional, spoiled, egotist in the White House.
